The last 15 hours in one state have been among the bloodiest on record leaving more than a dozen either dead or badly injured in a series of separate, but horrifically similar attacks. As people in this area are trying to come to grips with the onslaught of ambushes, they await authorities who could be addressing the nation at any time about this bloodbath and what to expect over the coming weeks after these intentional acts.
Sarah Brazzle and her friend were walking to their cars when three masked men approached them and threatened to kill them both if they didn’t respond the way they wanted. Terrified for their lives, they both instinctively took off on foot, but Brazzle’s friend didn’t make it as far as she did. She escaped down and alley and circled back around to find her friend, who had been on the receiving end of the attacker’s wrath. Brazzle found him in a pool of his own blood, having been shot in the back by attackers who they have never met before. Meanwhile, a few blocks away, something eerily similar was taking place which is now getting the nation’s attention.
Brazzle’s male friend was rushed to the hospital and listed in stable condition. He’s now one of 17 unfortunate victims within just the last 15 hours. What the pair didn’t realize at the time is that they had entered a war zone for which there was no return. They weren’t the first and won’t be the last until something is done about it. President Donald Trump is the man to finally do it after the city of Chicago has long since been forgotten and only gets worse by the hour — as Brazzle and her friend found out the hard way.
The Chicago Tribune reports:
“As an ambulance left with the 27-year-old man, a man on Wabash kept screaming. Around the corner, Brazzle and other people stood outside a lounge.”
“The 27-year-old man was among 17 people shot across the city over 15 hours Monday through Tuesday — 11 of them wounded in just five hours.”
All of these shootings were spread across both the south and west sides of Chicago — a “sanctuary city” with the most strict gun laws in the nation. It seems to have reached a fever pitch in recent days. Citizens are crying for help after Barack Obama failed on his promises to make life better for them. His support of Black Lives Matter was in vain since he’s done nothing for the black community in his hometown who are suffering the worst in in this literal war zone.
Thugs know they will get away with it since they have for eight years, even despite their Mayor’s recent vows to combat the killing. Now, things are about to get really brutal for them under a capable leader who makes no apologies for these criminals.
The solution of restricting law-abiding citizens from owning and using guns has never worked to squelch crime rates and Chicago is a prime example of this. While thugs are killing people at an alarming rate, citizens who are forced to follow this anti-Constitutional rule are helpless to it, and sadly lose their lives because of it. When guns are less available to law-abiding people, crime rates rise because criminals don’t get their guns through legal means and seize the opportunity of easy targets — to the tune of 17 victims in 15 hours.
With Chicago being a sanctuary city, their criminal issues run deep. Windy City citizens deserve better than to have their safety, livelihood, and pursuit of the American dream take a backseat to protecting thugs, criminals, and illegals. Countless lives have been lost in Chicago within the last eight years and for nothing. These people were lied to by our previous leader and are about to see what a president for the people can and will do for them.
All of the gun laws put into place under the Obama administration are about to be systematically dismantled to honor the Second Amendment under Trump’s pro-rights leadership. He’s giving power back to the people and becoming tough on crime, which is completely opposite of his predecessor. The era of criminals running rampant in this country in every aspect, from the government to the streets of Chicago is over and it took a patriotic, non-career politician to do that.
