2-Year-Old Brutally Beaten In Motel Parking Lot, Until A Man Grabs A Bat And Gets Payback!

A Washington man decided to step up to the plate when a toddler was being brutally beaten. The man was Don Gilbert and he took care of business at a motel where he saw a child being horribly abused.

KPTV reported that he grabbed a baseball bat when he started to hear screaming at about 9:00 P.M. in a room at the Sunnyside Motel where he was staying. It was located in Vancouver, Canada.

32-year old Kyle Holder was a witness. Apparently, he had thrown his 2-year old little girl through his motel window onto the cement after getting her from bed. In the parking lot he reportedly beat and kicked her.

Afterwards, Holder picked her up again and threw her several times to the ground and then proceeded to stomp on her head. As court documents reported. What a savage animal!

Gilbert intervened on behalf of the child which ultimately saved her life. He said,

I hit him once in the back. He had the baby by her feet. He took her to the curb and just slammed her down, and that’s when I cracked him in the skull three or four times.

Law enforcement officers tased Holder when he became uncontrollable. After being taken into custody he reportedly told officers,

I did not want to kill her, but I had to. I had to hold my daughter and crush her head so she could go up to the sky.”

The man who attacked Holder said,

He was just babbling about God’s coming for everyone and he’s got to get the evil out of his daughter.”

Now the abuser faces first degree attempted murder charges. He is in jail while his daughter remains at a local hospital in critical condition. Gilbert will not face any charges and despite his heroic behavior he doesn’t want to be called a hero.

Gilbert said,

The question is, why wouldn’t somebody do this? If more people took time to care less about themselves and more about innocent people, we wouldn’t have the crap going on in the world we do now.”

The world needs more Don Gilberts.
