7 Days After Dropping Malia Off At Harvard, Obamas Get Horrid Call About ‘Caged Animal’ Daughter

Barack and Michelle Obama have been largely out of sight since dropping their eldest daughter off at Harvard for her first year of college. The former president had to pull some strings for his entitled princess to get her private living quarters on campus, despite there not being any available.

Now, after her first week into her college career, Barack and Michelle Obama just got the last call they ever wanted to receive about their “darling” daughter.

Malia Obama has enjoyed a long “gap” year of living like royalty without responsibility, going from party to party and passing out at the end of it on a golf cart. That debauchery has now met the reality of she’s put off when she showed up for her freshman year on campus at Harvard University.

The last 12 or so months have been jam-packed with fun and inebriant times that Malia can probably barely remember if snapshots of her latest alcohol-fueled festival at Lollapalooza paint an accurate picture. The former first daughter darling stumbled onto campus last week feeling entitled from her White House days, but was met with an unexpected surprise.

Malia’s would-be roommate decided to back out at the last minute, which Barack Obama took advantage of by getting his little princess her own, much larger, private living space. The college recluse apparently doesn’t want to have to deal with the public who she finds really annoying.

We recently found this out when her path crossed with one particular woman’s who she was not remotely happy about running into.

Perhaps there was more to Malia getting her own private residence than just her roommate backing. She sick of the public attention, despite drawing more of it to herself with the things she’s caught doing. This recent interaction proves that she doesn’t deal with people too well that she doesn’t like, especially when they make her feel like a “caged animal.”

Malia has been so protected that life in the real world is really hard for her to handle without her parents there to cover for her.

Daily Mail reports:

It’s been less than a week since Malia Obama moved into her dorm and officially became Harvard University’s most famous freshman.

It appears the public attention is beginning to grate on the 19-year-old former first daughter.

Barack and Michelle Obama’s first-born reacted angrily Saturday to a gawker who waited outside a campus store in order to snap a picture of the famous former occupant of the White House, TMZ reported.

According to the celebrity gossip site, an onlooker saw a woman approach Malia who was grabbing a salad on campus and kindly requested a photo for her grandson. Rather than simply smiling for the camera for two seconds, Malia took a much different approach to the request which left the witness stunned.

TMZ reports that Malia first turned the request down and finished making her lunch purchase. The grandmother had left the salad station and went outside the shop. When Malia exited, the woman quickly snapped a picture of her walking out to which Malia replied, “Are you gonna take it in my face like an animal in a cage?

While the interaction may have been annoying to the former first daughter, it seems as if she’s having a hard time adjusting to life outside the 24-hour Secret Service protection. The Obamas were probably not too happy when they heard from their daughter about what just happened in their absence.

If the Obamas want to spare their daughter from public “rudeness” like this unwanted photo-taker, then both Barack and Michelle should stop putting themselves at the center of attention by continuing to act like they’re still in charge.

If the family and crew went back to private life and stayed away from the media’s attention then Malia would likely be left alone and forgotten about. They can’t have both fame and power and being in the media spotlight carries this price.

Unfortunately for Malia, the opportunities she’s been afforded in life don’t come without some “side effects.” If having to take a picture for a young “fan” is the worst, it’s a small price to pay to live like a rock star and attend one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

The looks on Barack and Michelle’s faces when they left their little girl on campus last week appear as if the move was harder on them than perhaps on her.

“Barack and Michelle, who both went to Harvard Law School, had their sunglasses on long before they exited Malia’s dorm and kept their faces looking down as they rushed into their SUV, leaving their daughter behind to start her new life,” Mail Online reports.

While this is typical for any parent taking their first born to college, their emotions are compounded by the fact that they have raised an entitled child who seems to find it difficult to cope as an independent adult.

Malia’s attitude issues toward the public have been well hidden by her parents who are masters at putting on a front for the American people. It’s in full-view now that she’s on her own and quick to lash out at anyone who asks for a picture.
