77-Year-Old Granny Sends Thieves Flying Through Window With Her Pump Action Shotgun (VIDEO)

In a small town in Missouri some would be burglars found out their victim wasn’t as helpless as they wanted to expect. They figured this out while attempting to rob an older woman.

KMOV reported the thugs had a very quick and hasty retreat back out the bathroom window in the house they had broken into after a 77-year-old woman greeted their criminal behavior with a shotgun. Go granny!!

Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department Detective Sgt. James Kauzler said,

She grabs the shotgun and goes back to where she hears a noise and finds two individuals inside one of her spare bedrooms.”

Doris Jackson was the woman’s 87-year-old neighbor. She told a reporter for the station that she had been concerned abo increasing crime levels in the neighborhood. But she wasn’t afraid or nervous because her neighbor wasn’t the only armed resident in the neighborhood.

She said,

How about a 9 mm. I wouldn’t have a shotgun but I have some more besides that, I’ve got some guns you know.”

The attempted burglars were sloppy though and they left their tools and cellphone most likely out of fear. They wanted to run as far and fast as possible. It helped the police department identify the burglars who have now been named people of interest in the case.

Hopefully they will find one and the one will rat on the other and the case will be closed. This old granny is not to be trifled with! Never judge a book by its cover. That’s for sure. It’s things like these that remind us why we have our second amendment rights and why we need them so badly. It’s why we fight so vociferously to defend our right to keep and bear arms from those who seek to disarm us of our firearms.
