President Obama has neglected to place a timetable to complete a resolution on the Iraqi conflict, reiterating that it would “take some time”, during the Saturday press conference that he gave prior to jetting off to Martha’s Vineyard for a few rounds of golf.
Obama’s speech happened just as the fourth airstrike against ISIS terrorists in the northern region of Iraq, with three strikes happening before noon and one more at 3pm. On the third round of strikes by the U.S. they successfully engaged the enemy and destroyed armored vehicles and truck artillery platforms that were firing on the Yazidi, according to U.S. Central Command.
[quote_box_center]’I’m not going to give a particular timetable, because as I’ve said from the start, wherever and whenever U.S. personnel and facilities are threatened, it’s my obligation, my responsibility as Commander-in-Chief, to make sure that they are protected,’ Obama said.
‘I don’t think we are going to solve this problem in weeks,’ the President said, noting that rebuilding Iraq ‘is going to be a long-term project.’ [/quote_box_center]
The President has built a strong reputation for being on vacations while the world unfolds and everyone watches. Another round of golf while Christians and innocent children are murdered because of a direct action of his failed policy to pull all troops out of Iraq.
Grow a pair and start leading President Obama.
