The professional race hustler and tax-dodging extortionist Al Sharpton thinks that it is your fault that people are talking about his millions of dollars in unpaid taxes.
That is, if you don’t like President Obama or New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, then that is why the media is focused on Sharpton’s criminal financial issues.
Responding to the recent piece in the New York Times that revealed the insane amount of unpaid back taxes owed by Sharpton, he said:
“I think it’s political. A lot of people don’t like the fact that President Obama’s the president. A lot of people do not like the fact that Bill de Blasio won for mayor. And they certainly don’t like that I’m still here, and I ain’t going nowhere.”
That’s right, that bastion of right-wing conservative thought, the New York Times, is reporting on Al Sharpton’s unpaid taxes because some people don’t like Obama (H/T Hot Air).
Sharpton added, “Every time there’s a Sean Bell or a Ferguson or a Trayvon Martin, we go through my taxes. It’s the same agreement, y’all.”
Yes, of course. Perhaps if Sharpton weren’t so busy stirring the pot of racial animosity and perpetual victimhood, he might have time to pay his taxes, which your racism has obviously prevented him from addressing in a timely manner.
In an odd press conference to discuss the allegations of the Times piece, Sharpton spoke about various taxes that he may or may not have paid, but carefully avoided actually answering any questions directly pertaining to specific unpaid taxes, or the desperate financial straights of his National Action Network.
While we certainly don’t hold up the New York Times as the gospel truth, Al Sharpton is a rank liar as well, so it is difficult to know who exactly to believe in this situation.
However, given Sharpton’s horrendous history, we are inclined to believe the Times on this particular issue.
