Syrian refugees are fleeing by the millions from their war-torn, Islamic State group-occupied country. Where they’re headed should be of great concern to citizens of the United States and other Western countries.
The U.S. State Department initially planned on receiving several thousand Syrian refugees, but recent reports indicate that Obama is on the verge of possibly quadrupling that number which could pose a massive national security risk – putting American lives directly in harm’s way.
Here’s the problem — even though a representative from the State Department Refugee Admission’s unit, Larry Bartlett, as well as the Department of Homeland Security have assured critics that each refugee will be given a thorough vetting, it’s not a stretch that a few will be missed — possibly the ones who are ready and willing to meet Allah.
And that news comes on the heels of a recent announcement from the Islamic State group — claiming that they’ll soon flood Europe with a half-million refugees, many of them likely being radical Islamist plants who would carry out their mission of jihad.
It’s easy to see why some members of Congress and counter-terrorism experts in America are more than concerned about Obama’s announcement.
Italy has recent seen an overwhelming amount of the refugees — 170,000 of them arriving by boat last year alone.
The vetting process that the Obama administration claims it’s going to use on the incoming refugees is irrelevant since law enforcement databases in a majority of Islamic states are outdated or simply don’t exist. How can the United States vet a refugee with no record?
Not to mention, the FBI and other agencies simply lack the resources for such a herculean task of thoroughly vetting and retrieving intel on each and every one of the Syrian refugees that will eventually make it to American shores. (H/T TPNN)
Whether it’s letting drug cartels and illegal immigrants across the border, importing Ebola patients or shipping in potential jihadist refugees into the United States, it’s crystal clear at this point that Obama doesn’t care too much about the safety of the very people who elected him into office.
