Orlando, Florida is still reeling from the recent terrorist attack on Monday that left 50 dead including the shooter. Omar Mateen was killed in a shootout with law enforcement officials when he was holding people as hostages. Now, new evidence indicates he perhaps had an accomplice.
“Law enforcement could possibly make an arrest in the next few days of someone who allegedly helped the Orlando gunman.”
US Attorney Lee Bentley who is handling the case has stated to reporters that the public need not be fearful of the suspect or worry about the possibility of another attack by the accomplice.
“We have no reason to believe that anyone connected to this crime is placing the public in imminent danger at this time,” he said.
An InfoWars reporter spoke to eyewitnesses who are postulating their was potentially more than one gunman. He referenced an ABC News article that said an accomplice was being questioned and likely to be arrested soon. The reporter questioned whether this means the Orlando massacre is a cell activation for other terrorist operatives across the United States.
Are they singling out the LGBT community? Will they target LA Pride and New Orleans Pride parades that are coming up quickly?
Perhaps instead they are trying to instill fear into the American people with hateful messages of xenophobia. The InfoWars reporters hypothesizes ISIS knows exactly what they’re doing because of their experience. They know the American government will call to disarm the American people through gun prohibition which makes citizens even more vulnerable to attack.
Mateen was a 29 year old American with Afghan origins. Both his parents were from Afghanistan. According to reports a former coworker complained about homophobic and suspicious behavior to employers who did nothing. While his ex-wife has publically commented he was abusive and short tempered. New reports also emphasize he was a frequent customer of the gay nightclub he shot up. As well, federal investigators have maintained he called 911 to pledge allegiance to ISIS before the attack.
