On June 18th, a 20-year-old who was in the states on an expired visa, grabbed a police officer’s gun at a Trump rally and attempted to assassinate the presumptive Republican nominee.

Trump was holding a rally in Las Vegas on Saturday. Little did Trump know that the person he believed to be a protester disrupting the event, was actually trying to take his life.

ABC News reported that Michael Sandford told a Secret Service agent that he had driven to Las Vegas from California two days earlier with the intent of killing Donald Trump.

When Sandford arrived at the rally, he struck up a conversation with a police officer, telling him that he wanted to get an autograph from Trump. Sandford then grabbed the handle of the officer’s gun in an attempt to wrestle it from him, according to UK’s Daily Mail.

A report by Secret Service Agent Swierkowski, cited by a US District Court in Nevada where Sandford was charged, states that Sandford told officers he had traveled from California to Las Vegas to kill Trump, and that the day before the rally he went to Battlefield Vegas gun range to learn how to shoot. Sandford fired 20 rounds from a 9mm Glock in order to become acquainted with it.

The same report states that Sandford grabbed officer Ameel Jacob’s weapon because his holster was “unlocked,” making it the easiest firearm to grab and kill Trump with.

SANDFORD, Michael Complaint 062016 by Tony Garcia

ABC News reported that:

“Sandford said had been planning to kill Trump for about a year, according to the complaint, and if he were on the street tomorrow that ‘he would try this again.’”

According to ABC, Sandford believed that:

“he would likely only be able to fire one to two rounds and stated he was convinced he would be killed by law enforcement during his attempt on Trump’s life.”

The Daily Mail reports that Sandford also had tickets to a Phoenix rally in case he failed to kill Trump in Las Vegas.

Sandford had been visiting from Britain, although, his visa expired 18 months ago, making him an illegal alien. He did not have a job, and had been living out of his car.

Sandford is being held without bail as the judge hearing his case said he is a “risk to the community and a flight risk.”

Apparently, on top of monitoring Mosques, and deporting illegals from Mexico, we’re going to have to screen crazy, leftist, illegal alien Brits who want to assassinate our political leaders.

No better time than the present to get started. We have enough crazy leftists here, already. No need to be importing more. Especially ones that want to kill the next president of the United States.
