The anti-hunting crowd can be rather brutal, often wishing death and other harm to the dedicated conservationists who devote their lives to the population control of wildlife while most times donating the meat from their kills to the local communities so it’s never wasted.
One of their most recent targets has been Eva Shockey, a beautiful young woman who hosts a show on the Outdoor Channel and the daughter of hunting legend Jim Shockey. But rather than cave to the constant bullying and threats, she came up with a creative way to poke them in the eye.
Her goal is to sell at least 1,000 of the shirts, which simply read, “I’ll never apologize for being a hunter,” and that message seems to be resonating with her fans. According to TheBlaze, she sold 500 of the shirts, which come in black, grey, pink and purple, on the first day they were available, and by the time they published their story, there were just 99 more to go.
Shockey has never been apologetic for hunting, and why would she be? It’s a necessity in order to keep the delicate balance in nature and prevent overpopulation.
She had previously talked to TheBlaze about people who told her to kill her own dog after she posted a photo of herself with a massive black bear she had just killed, because in their minds that would be justice or something.
“I know as a hunter that what I’m doing is the right thing, I’m doing good, I’m positively benefiting wildlife populations and adding to conservation,” she said.
Unfortunately, the moonbat animal rights activists just don’t seem to get it, and they likely never will.
