A marching band from a historically black college in Alabama has accepted an invitation to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2017.
The marching band, from Talladega College, has faced a fistful of criticism from the dimwit leftists and liberal who think that anyone who’s black should not participate in the inauguration or support our new President.
That’s called being racist.
As we’ve seen in the past, the leftists and democrats are historically racist. We know this because their main deflection point is to call everyone else racist, but in reality – they are the racists.
To tell a college marching band to NOT perform and to criticize them for doing so is the most liberal nonsense I’ve ever heard.
This is the inauguration of an American President and the band will be on the biggest stage there is. This only happens once every four years and it’s an honor to be invited to perform.
This will easily be the biggest stage that the college students have ever been on, in front of an audience spanning millions of people, and they’re one of the few people invited.
Only an idiot would turn down an opportunity like this.
This is better than performing at the Super Bowl, which has a history of terrible performances anyway. Isn’t that right, Beyonce?
Maybe one day the liberal and democrat complainers of the world will wake up (stay woke) and think “wow, we really are a bunch of freaking idiots!”
I’m very happy to see Talladega College marching band members make the right choice and will cheer them on during their performance.
I hope the Talladega marching band loves their music as much as this girl.
The world is ready to hear this awesome band perform, so BRING IT!
Fox News – The marching band of a historically black college in Alabama will perform in President-elect Donald Trump’s Jan. 20 inaugural parade, despite a barrage of criticism, the school’s president announced Thursday.
Talladega College President Billy Hawkins confirmed what the Presidential Inaugural Committee had announced Dec. 30. It was the first official word from the school.
The Inaugural Committee’s announcement last month had ignited passionate debate on the campus and around the nation.
In announcing that the Talladega College Marching Tornadoes will participate, Hawkins said the lessons students can learn from the experience cannot be taught in a classroom.
“We respect and appreciate how our students and alumni feel about our participation in this parade,” Hawkins said in a statement Thursday.
