A Black Lives Matter supporter posted very violent and threatening Facebook messages about police.
A Wayne County judge wants more information about before handing out a punishment for the Detroit man who allegedly posted “kill all white cops” and a handful of other nasty anti-police messages on Facebook.
The judge must decide whether Nheru Littleton’s horrible Facebook posts constitute a real threat, or if his anti-police VIOLENT MURDEROUS free speech is protected by the First Amendment. Free speech is not free from consequences. When you threaten police, then you deserve a punishment. His words could convince others to commit horrible crimes and we need to take that serious.
An American Civil Liberties Union lawyer suggests that Littleton was “traumatized” and posted his messages as a response to seeing cops shoot a black criminal. The lawyer calls them citizens, but cops don’t just shoot random citizens. They shoot criminals. That’s what they are and it does not matter what color they are. The attorney for the ACLU wants you to believe this is Littleton’s ways of lashing out against “injustice” but it’s a lame attempt at making more violence OK. Shooting a criminal is not police injustice, that’s called doing your job.
Police submitted warrants to Wayne County prosecutors seeking charges against three of the men, including Littleton; detectives determined there wasn’t enough evidence to seek charges against the fourth suspect. In the separate cases, Prosecutor Kym Worthy declined to charge the trio because she said their alleged posts weren’t crimes.
But two months later, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced he was bringing terrorism charges against Littleton.
Littleton allegedly wrote: “F them racist a__ cops!!! Kill them ALL. Black Lives Matter. Black people should start killing all white cops just like they are killing us!!!
“Then and only then will this s___ stop. Why you ask? Because white people will be dropping like flies!!!” Littleton allegedly wrote
Littleton is 40-years-old and charged with making terrorist threats and using a computer to commit crime. Both of those are worth 20 years in the slammer on felony charges.
Hopefully the judge gives this man at least a year in prison where his punishment requires him to write nice things about cops all day.
If he wants to go to jail, then this is a good way to do it.
Social media has turned our world into a giant room filled with everyone’s thoughts and we can read them all. Facebook posts can go from cute baby pictures, to recipes, to killing cops and committing suicide on Facebook live. It’s everyone’s brain linked together, sharing things that no one really cares about.
Show me memes, funny videos, and REAL news. Other than that, I don’t care what you had for breakfast and I don’t care about your hatred toward police.
If you post something suggesting that people kill cops, then you deserve jail time.
