The week began with controversy over President Trump’s right-hand woman, Kellyanne Conway, caught sitting on the sofa in the Oval Office on her knees. Liberals were outraged, calling it a disrespectful act, but didn’t seem to feel the same when one of their own made a perverted remark yesterday with what else looks familiar about her being on her knees.
Democratic Louisiana Rep. Cedric Richmond used the podium at a Press Club Foundation Dinner on Wednesday to make a perverted remark about Conway in front of a room full of people and on television. “I really just want to know what was going on there, because, you know, I won’t tell anybody. And you can just explain to me that circumstance because she really looked kind of familiar in that position there,” he said, according to the Daily Caller. “But, don’t answer, and I don’t want you to refer back to the 1990s,” he added before moving on and not expecting anything to happen despite this clearly offensive sexual sentiment.
Since he’s a Democrat who said the perverse remark and not a conservative politician, there was zero outrage over the obvious sexual harassment. The left was still stuck on Conway sitting on her knees and even continues to talk about something President Trump said over a decade ago. However, Conway just issued the knockout blow now 24 hours after Richmond’s infamous words came out.
Richmond tried to excuse his sickening behavior by saying, “Where I grew up saying that someone is looking or acting ‘familiar’ simply means that they are behaving too comfortably,” Young Conservatives reported. However, when Conway was asked about it, she not only didn’t accept this lame response as an apology, since it wasn’t one, but she pointed out something else that needed to be said as well.
When asked if she thought that her, the “victim,” being a conservative and the offender being a Democrat had anything to do with the huge void of outrage over this disturbing issue, Conway told The Daily Caller, “Yes, and it is not just if I were a liberal woman, but if I were a pro-abortion one.”
Liberal feminists are about women’s rights and equality when it comes to other liberals but are the true anti-women misogynists when it comes to conservative females. They can’t pick and choose their outrage based on party lines nor do they have any room to say another word about Trump’s infamous “locker room talk” from the distant past, if they aren’t going to hold Richmond to the same level of ridicule for his remarks.
