The First Lady of the United States has been grossly underestimated by her detractors for the quiet, since she operates with far less bravado than her predecessor, Michelle Obama. Pinning her as the president’s idiotic arm candy was a huge mistake as she just proved when she walked in the room with her six special guests in tow tonight that not a single person in America was expecting.
While all attention before tonight’s main speaking event was on President Trump, who will be addressing the Congress in a joint session for the first time, Melania Trump pulled out all the stops with who she picked to accompany her to hear what he had to say. Liberals will be watching the speech tonight with baited breath, waiting to chomp at the bit for the first slip up they expect him to make, but in their obsession over seeking his flaws, Melania just upstaged everyone by silencing her haters with her impressive guest list.
CBS News reports that Melania’s official list includes Maureen McCarthy Scalia, who is the widow of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, 20-year-old Megan Crowley who was diagnosed with Pompe Disease shortly after birth but is now a Notre Dame graduate and was her father’s inspiration in founding Novazyme Pharmaceuticals which is seeking a cure for her disease.
Melania’s other notable and honorable guests tonight are as follows, as reported by Red State Watcher:
“Jessica Davis & Susan Oliver, the widows of Detective Michael Davis and Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver, two California police officers killed by an undocumented immigrant in 2014. Denisha Merriweather, a first-generation high school and college graduate who used the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship program to attend a Florida private school, Esprit de Corps Center for Learning. Jamiel Shaw Sr., the father of a young man shot and killed by an undocumented immigrant in 2008.”
Suffice it to say, Michelle would have never compiled such a quality group of people since she didn’t see value in them, considering they do nothing for her social status. It’s nice to see a First Lady bring these heroes to the forefront and give them the national attention they deserve.
