After two OK performances, Donald Trump came out guns blazing at last night’s Presidential debate.
It was a completely different Trump from the first two debates. Trump came prepared to rebut every claim Hillary threw his way, and articulated his arguments in a much more polished fashion. Hillary wasn’t her usual self either. Her mocking “there you go again” expression she had one her face during the first two debates was absent.
In the second debate, despite an overall week performance, Trump had the line of the night when he told Hillary that she’d be going to jail. In last night’s debate, there was one moment that stood out as the moment when Hillary lost.
As Liberty Writers News reported:
There was one single moment, about halfway through the debate, where her entire plan fell apart.
The moment came when Chris Matthews decided to grill Hillary Clinton over new Wikileaks proving she wants a “hemispheric government” with open borders.
The results were NOT pretty for Hillary…
Yeah – she had no response but to claim that she was taken out of context. Here’s the quote in context:
“My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, some time in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere.”
She was talking about energy….. but in the context of a “hemispheric common market.” What the hell is an “open borders” policy for energy supposed to be, anyway?
She had the same excuse when she was asked about statements that she made in another Wall Street speech, that as a politician you need to have a “public and private” stance on some issues. She tried to claim that she was taken out of context then too, and managed to blame the confusion on a conversation related to Abraham Lincoln (yes, really).
If the debates have served any purpose, it’s showing the American public just how much of a liar (and a poor one at that) Hillary truly is.
