Donald Trump’s inauguration is just days away, which means that people should apparently be on high alert, especially considering what officials have been uncovering in Washington, D.C. the past few days. And the most recent discovery is going to have people very, very scared.
A woman was walking in the woods near the Potomac River when she found guns stashed in a violin case. She notified police, who quickly began investigating. They began searching the area, and found more guns and ammunition stashed in pails and garbage bags. And the weapons varied, from long guns to pistols. “At this point, we don’t know how they got there, why they’re here or when they got here,” police spokeswoman Sgt. Anna Rose said.
Barbara Joan Saffir was preparing to go for her run when she came upon the violin case being guarded by two police officers. It was immediately suspicious for her. “Nobody ever hikes on that side of the canal,” Saffir said. “People walk on the towpath.”
This isn’t the only suspicious activity surrounding Trump’s inauguration; Project Veritas also recently discovered that a leftist group was planning to conduct acid attacks at one of the inaugural balls.
