Muslims’ reign of supremacy over the Western world came to an abrupt end the second Donald Trump was sworn into office and vowed to eliminate radical Islam to make America great again. His mission to make good on this campaign promise has been ongoing and effective, but now things just got a lot worse for a particular group of terrorists. These miscreants have overstayed their welcome and 300 Marines are about to let them know how they feel about it in what will be their worst day since Trump took office.
Our president is intent on bringing America back to its former glory pre-Barack Obama, no matter who he has to bomb to do it. The apology tour is over, refugees aren’t welcome, and Muslims taking up space and resources in America while plotting against us are getting the boot. We saw this with the mass deportation of 4,801 Somali Muslims recently, but now Trump and General Mattis have just stepped up their joint effort to obliterate this cancer where it counts.
There is no time like the present to take out the evil of Islam, which Trump has already demonstrated when he dropped the “Mother of All Bombs” (MOAB) on terrorists’ caves in Afghanistan. However, he was just getting warmed up last week, as it’s now been confirmed and publicly announced that 300 U.S. Marines are making their way to this decrepit sandlot to finish the job.
“Roughly 300 Marines are en route to Afghanistan to help Afghan troops stop the Taliban from swallowing more of the hard-fought territory for which so many Marines have bled and died, Marine Corps Times has learned,” the MarineCorpsTimes reported.
This deployment is the first of more to come and marks the largest since 2014. The Marines will be taking over the Helmand province for the next nine months and wreaking havoc on the Taliban to avenge the deaths of their fallen brothers and sisters who fought and died there during the last deployment.
“Helmand province is becoming increasingly dangerous for U.S. troops. In March, three American soldiers were shot at an Afghan military base in an apparent insider attack and in February, a Special Forces soldier was severely wounded in Sangin,” the MarineCorpsTimes report explained.
“Make no mistake, though we are no longer in a combat role in Afghanistan, it is still a combat environment,” Col. Matthew Reid, deputy task force commander, said in January. “As Marines, we train and deploy with a combat mindset.”
Unlike the previous mission there, the Trump administration won’t make the same mistake Obama did with “announcing withdrawals that came and went and really made no sense from any kind of point of view,” military analyst Peter Bergen said. This time, they will counter the Taliban’s momentum they’ve been able to gain there under Obama, by making it “clear that its commitment to Afghanistan is open-ended,” he added.
In the three years since Obama pulled boots off the ground in Afghanistan, the Taliban has taken nearly complete control of southern Afghanistan, where 50 Marines previously lost their lives fighting this evil. Marines on their way there now will go there to finish the mission that the fallen didn’t have the chance to do under our previous leadership who had no respect for the military or interest in fighting the war on terrorism.
