After enduring 8 years of having a first lady who hated America, most of us are pretty excited over Melania Trump, whose grace and internal beauty couldn’t be more evident. Michele Obama accomplished little during her tenure besides putting on airs like a snotty celebrity, while continually bashing the very country she was supposed to represent. Add her massive failure with her disgusting school lunch programs that President Trump is about to flush down the toilet, and her entire little “legacy” is pretty laughable. But to make things even worse for Michelle, Melania is showing up Mooch in a big way after announcing a new campaign she is launching as her very first act as First Lady.
As the woman representing America, one would think that you’d invest your time wisely into something that actually freaking mattered. As Michelle strutted around the White House for the past decade likening herself to a queen, she demanded from her throne that all schools comply with following her disgusting school lunch program, as kids nation-wide rose up in defiance at the lousy food being served to them, frequently uploading pictures of their meals to social media along with the hashtag #ThanksMichelleObama to express their displeasure.
However Melania is doing something to actually help America’s children, with vowing to fix an issue that every single teenager has struggled with at some point in their lives.
With technology literally at our fingertips in this day and age, cyber bullying has become a huge epidemic. According to bullyingstatistics.org, it affects millions of teens on a daily basis, as 25% of teenagers report they endure daily bullying over their cell phones, or over the internet, while over half of all teens reporting they’ve experienced this form of violence at some point in their lives.
This type of bullying has sadly led to many suicides, as suicide is the #2 killer of our young people between the ages of 15-24. Being that this is such a huge issue in our country, Melania is determined to take the issue head-on, having seen the affects of bullying first hand with the horrendous cyber bullying of her young son Barron, ever since her husband became president.
“Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers. It is never okay when a 12-year-old girl or boy is mocked, bullied or attacked,” Melania Trump in a recent speech. “It is terrible when that happens on the playground and it is absolutely unacceptable when it’s done by someone with no name hiding on the internet. We must find better ways to support the basic goodness of our children especially in social media. It will be one of the main focuses of my work if I’m privileged enough to become your first lady,” she vowed.
It’s awesome that our new first lady is actually taking on an issue that actually matters, as cyber bullying is likely to affect all of our children at some point in their lives. It just goes to show that Melania’s heart is in the right place, and that she’s not on a power trip from hell like Michelle was, barking orders that everyone comply with her government-controlled agenda just because of her position as first lady.
