While Hillary Clinton wanted the U.S. to go to war with Russia, Russia is gearing up to go to war with radical Islam. That doesn’t sound a country that WE would want to go to war with, considering they want to destroy the same terrorists that we need to.
Yesterday, Russia’s ambassador to Turkey was assassinated at an Ankara exhibit by a lone Turkish gunman shouting “God is great!” and “don’t forget Aleppo, don’t forget Syria!” in what the leaders of Turkey and Russia called a provocative terrorist attack. Many have likened this assassination to the death of Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, a major catalyst of the first World War.
Russia isn’t run by a wimp like Barack Obama, so Russia is actually treating this as a terror attack and responding accordingly.
As Truthfeed reported:
Fears of a broader world war being touched off by the horrible murder appear to have been quelled for the moment though, as Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erodgan over the phone shortly after the assassination, according to Reuters.
That, however, doesn’t mean that Putin and Russia will not retaliate for what Putin described as a deliberate provocation designed to disrupt the uneasy Russian-Turkish relationship and derail efforts to wind down the civil war in Syria.
“A crime has been committed and it was without doubt a provocation aimed at spoiling the normalization of Russo-Turkish relations and spoiling the Syrian peace process which is being actively pushed by Russia, Turkey, Iran and others,” Putin declared. “There can only be one response – stepping up the fight against terrorism. The bandits will feel this happening.”
If it was indeed ISIS behind the attack, the so-called Islamic State should have learned by now: they’ve picked a fight against the wrong guys. We have entered “take no prisoners” territory. For Russia, now all the gloves are off.
With Trump and Putin fighting ISIS, their days are numbered…
