Today the news is all about the bombing that occurred in St. Petersburg, Russia today. Sadly, this terrible event has claimed the lives of at least 10 people and injured at least 20. The mainstream media initially reported that there was only one bomb, but according to Russian authorities, they found something else.
In their twisted desire to keep the populace out of the loop, the mainstream media has failed to report the truth. Russian security agencies have discovered another bomb on the St. Petersburg metro. The device was found in a briefcase and thankfully it was defused without incident.
The spokesman for Russia’s national anti-terrorism committee Andrei Przhezdomsky said that the second improvised explosive was found near the Ploshchad Vosstaniya station. The Russian Prosecutor-General’s Office called the explosion a “terrorist attack,” according to the Russian news agency TASS.
While the world waits to hear more about this tragic event we all know that Putin will not let this go. Currently, they have not arrested anyone for this attack, but the police do have images of possible suspects.
According to Dail Mail:
A search warrant has now been issued for two people in connection with the attack – one for planting the bomb which detonated at Sennaya Ploshchad and the other for leaving an explosive device at Ploshchad Revolutsii station.
A source said: ‘Two people are being sought on suspicion of planning the blasts, one of whom is thought to have placed the explosive device in the metro wagon and the second person for leaving a bomb at the metro station Ploshchad Revolutsii.’
This is just a terrible way to start the week, but I can only pray that Russian officials catch these evil men. While this attack is brutal, to say the least, it could have been so much worse. I am so glad that the other explosive device did not go off and that the police were able to defuse it.
How do you think Putin will handle this horrific attack?
