President Donald Trump left the flood zone in Texas and flew directly to Missouri to raise awareness and discuss relief efforts happening in Texas. He was joined by First Daughter Ivanka Trump and while the discussions went well, word of his arrival had spread.
As a common practice, sections of road are shut down to other motor traffic to allow the presidential motorcade to pass by safely, reducing the opportunity for attack. While this was the case for Trump in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday, what Secret Service wasn’t aware of, was what coming out of the wooded area along the particular stretch of freeway ahead of the president’s departure.
As Trump’s convoy made their way down the road, a white car shot out of the woods heading straight for the president. In what appeared to be a page out of the terrorist handbook, the driver first looked like they were trying to use their car as a weapon to kill the president but was stopped short of being able to do so by fast-acting Secret Service agents.
The agents broke from the motorcade and went for the white car, blocking the driver just feet from the convoy.
Some onlookers report that the car, allegedly driven by one woman with a female passenger in the front seat, appeared to be trying to “catch up” to the president when Secret Service derailed their attempt. Now, we know what really happened.
“An out-of-control car has been filmed plowing from woodland just yards from President Donald Trump’s motorcade in the dramatic footage,” Daily Mail reported. “Shocking video shows the white vehicle appear suddenly from woodland as the heavily-guarded commander-in-chief passed by.”
“Stunned onlookers captured the moment on camera phones, amid fears the driver was attempting to ram the President’s car,” the report continued. “Clayte Hefner, who filmed the video, said he saw two women inside the car as it appeared from the woods.”
According to Truth Feed, there was another car nearby “sporting several Alt-Left stickers, such as ‘Black Lives Matter’ and others, and seemed to be lurking in wait.” However, that has yet to be confirmed but more information about the driver was.
While it was odd that there was little initial coverage of this alarming incident, it was later discovered that the white vehicle in question suffered some brake issues. The timing of this mechanical problem was certainly unfortunate since it occurred right as President Trump was passing by.
However, the first thought is always an intentional act considering that the president is under constant attack, and needs to be treated that way for his protection.
It was just 24 hours before this attack on Trump’s convoy that a liberal lunatic spoke of doing something similar.
Within just the last 48 hours, the president’s life has been in imminent danger since leaving the White House being around the public. Just a few short hours before he landed in Missouri, he was in Austin, Texas to discuss some disaster relief efforts with officials, where a separate lunatic made his lethal plans known.
With photos of Air Force One on the tarmac in the state’s capital, a deranged man, known as “BummyShiii” said he wanted to “go down in history,” which had Secret Service on edge and Air Force One on lockdown.
The left was too focused on trash-talking Melania’s clothing in Corpus Christi today, to care about the assassination talk BummyShiii was advertising for when the couple made their way to Austin.
“The Secret Service is investigating claims by poster on Twitter that he plans to shoot President Donald Trump at the airport in Austin, Texas where Trump recently arrived for meetings at the Texas state capital on Hurricane Harvey,” the Gateway Pundit reported.
“The person with the account name @BummyShiii, posted photos from the airport showing Air Force One on the tarmac and said in response to someone who commented he should shoot Trump that he ‘will go down in history today’ and that he was not afraid of the Secret Service,” the report explained of the threat.
BummyShiii was clear in his plan of attack on Trump is stating he wanted to “piss on his ass.”
“Our lame ass president is flying into the airport tom I hope I see him so I can piss on his ass — bummy,” BummyShiii wrote on the social site on August 28, 2017.
This individual wasn’t arrested for publicly announcing his threats and even getting the support for them from others online.
We can only hope that more information becomes available and that this incident isn’t buried as fast as what just happened in Austin. For the first time in history, it has become acceptable and even a common practice to make an attempted attack on our president’s life. These two incidents were far from the first and certainly won’t be the last until authorities start taking them more seriously.
