(From Mad World News) Mobile phones found on the bodies of dead Islamic State fighters reveal life inside their fight against their enemies, through video taken by fellow jihadists.
A source from the Kurdish armed forces in Iraq, known as peshmerga, provided the footage to the National Review Online. In the first clip, it shows a man who appears to be an Islamic State fighter preparing to shoot a mortar at nearby enemies, although it is unclear who the particular enemy is and the terrorist’s exact location.
A man off-screen is heard asking, “Are they there?” Another fighter answers, “They’re there,” then the jihadi fires the mortar after repeated attempts to adjust the weapon’s aim.
“On them! On them! Put the camera on them,” someone yells, and the camera turns toward the hills.
Then the jihadis chant “God is great,” after concluding that the shells seem to be hitting their target.
“Let’s go,” the black-clad jihadi says just before the video cuts out.
Another video shows Iraqi troops in vehicles on a road, which the source who provided the footage believes the video was from earlier this summer when the military fled the Islamic State during heavy attacks. An Iraqi military fighter may have initially taken the video. It’s unclear how the Islamic State fighter came in possession of this phone that contained the Iraqi footage, before being found dead with it.
