With the recent reopening of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton Democrat’s and some Republican’s have publically commented on whether they agree with it or not. One of those people is Senator Harry Reid of Nevada. Reid admonished FBI Director James Comey in a statement to the media for his reopening of the case. But funny enough he never criticized him for letting Clinton off to begin with.
The prominent Democratic Senator accused the Director of violating several federal laws by favoring one party over the other. Because to Democrat’s this issue of the emails erver is of course a party issue and not just an issue of a criminal who committed a crime. Reid said that Comey knew of this new information all along. He wrote,
“I am writing to inform you that my office has determined that these actions may violate the Hatch Act. Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”
Reid also accused Comey in the letter of downplaying and suppressing negative information pertaining to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in order to give him more power and favor in the election. He wrote,
“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government.”
“The public has a right to know this information … And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.”
In his letter the Senator also says that Comey is attempting to tar and feather Clinton with innuendo and suggestion without actual proof. He castigated him for taking this action so close to the election.
“You rushed to take this step eleven days before a presidential election, despite the fact that for all you know, the information you possess could be entirely duplicative of the information you already examined which exonerated Secretary Clinton.” he wrote.
In typical Democratic fashion Reid attempted to intimidate the Director through thuggery. In his final paragraph he discusses how he is the one that ensured that the Director was nominated when Republican’s filibustered his nomination. He ended by saying he regretted his decision.

Reid simply does not know how to play unless he plays through corruption and intimidation. He helped FBI Director Comey get nominated so he expects full loyalty in return even if it means breaking the law for him and his party. It is the ultimate form of hypocrisy.
