Most military veterans have an incredible bond with their service dogs as these companions can be a source of unspeakable joy and comfort to those suffering from PTSD. But that was not the case with one highly-deranged female veteran by the name of Marinna Rollins, whose demented action she took against her newly-adopted service dog is dominating headlines today. As Americans across the country are in a collective outrage over the video of the woman’s savagery, karma just came calling in a huge way that will no doubt be wiping the stupid grin off the face of Rollins who was so eager to broadcast her cruel debauchery across the internet.
If you haven’t seen the video yet, be warned… because it’s horrifying. Rollins is a veteran who was given a recent medical discharge from the military due to PTSD and was assigned a service dog named Camboi, who she called “Cam” for short. For reasons that defy all logic, Rollins and her boyfriend Jarren Heng, who is still on active duty, decided that Cam had to die, and thought of the cruelest way possible to do it.
In the video that’s now been views tens of thousands of times, the white pitbull can be seen being led to his death to a highly-wooded area where the couple ties him to a tree. After shooting the dog point-blank range in the face five times, Rollins then begins laughing hysterically at the sight of the dog’s lifeless body on the ground, as they begin making sadistic comments to the dog they’ve just slaughtered.
“It’s been real … I love you, you’re my puppy, you’re a good puppy, but…” she can be heard saying after the dog is dead, where she then begins dragging the dog’s lifeless body around. The couple then roll the dog into a shallow grave where the boyfriend says, “Kind of put him a little deeper.”
Posts on social media before the savage murder prove that this was completely premeditated, as Rollins’ Facebook post hours earlier read, “Great last day with the pooch! Sad he has to go, but he will be much happier where he is heading off to :)” with Heng responding, “He’s gonna have such a great new life.”
While there is nothing to bring the poor dog back from the senseless murder, thankfully karma came calling in a swiftly in this case. The Daily Mail reported today that Rollins was originally being held on a 10,000 bail and Heng on $5,000 bail, but due to the outcry of animal lovers, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office raised both of their bails to $25,000, according to the Justice for Cam Facebook page.
Thank goodness these two degenerates are behind bars where they belong. I guarantee it won’t be long until Heng is dishonorably discharged from the military, which will pair nicely with the felony charges that they’re currently facing for the senseless animal cruelty. Seriously.. what the hell is wrong with people these days? What’s incredibly sad is that the dog was schedule to go to a different home for adoption, but Rollins got the dog at the last minute.
A veteran is accused of tying her service dog to a tree in the woods and shooting him five times while her soldier boyfriend filmed it.
Marinna Rollins, 23, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was charged with animal cruelty and conspiracy on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Rollins allegedly brought her gray and white male pitbull service dog called Cam, who helped her deal with PTSD, to a wooded area.
She then tied him to a tree in the woods and shot him five times while taking turns filming it with her boyfriend, reported the Fayetteville Observer.
The pair are heard laughing in the horrifying footage.
Rollins was recently medically discharged from the Army.
Police say boyfriend Jarren Heng, 25, who is a soldier with the US Army stationed at Fort Bragg, also participated in the twisted act and filmed it.
Authorities said Heng can be heard on the video saying ‘Let me hit him once’ as he and Rollins shot the dog, according to ABC 11.
In the video, a female voice can also be heard saying ‘It’s been real … I love you, you’re my puppy, you’re a good puppy, but…’
The video then seems to show Rollins dragging the dead dog’s body around before burying him in a shallow grave.
‘Kind of put him a little deeper,’ Heng then appears to say.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland County Animal Control said they found multiple videos of the killing and also text messages talking about it.
