Denzel Washington DESTROYS The MainStream Media for Spreading Fake News

While most of Hollywood tends to be full of a bunch of progressive liberals it turns our every now and again a conservatives comes out of the woodwork to speak the truth. Whether it be the likes of Gary Sinise or Mel Gibson. This time it is none other than Denzel Washington.

Washington was at the premier of the film Fences. He was the star and the director of it and he took the red carpet and answered questions by reporters. Specifically, he mentioned the mainstream liberal media and the current presidential election.

The A list actor told ITK,

“If you don’t read the newspaper, you’re uninformed. If you do read it, you’re misinformed.”

Over the summer the sixty one year old actor found himself in the middle of a fake election news story. The story was cited by the media. Allegedly he rescinded his support for Hillary Clinton and turned it towards President Elect Donald Trump.

A few months later in November another story broke out that reportedly said that Washington was praising Donald Trump saying,

“We need more and more jobs. He has hired more employees, more people, than anyone I know in the world. In our society, now it’s just first, who cares, get it out there. We don’t care who it hurts. We don’t care who we destroy. We don’t care if it’s true.”

Going on, he said that the large amount of access to information that exists out their in the world means that many people have shifted from a mentality of truthful journalism to being the first to read the very first thing that is reported. Washington said,

“So what a responsibility you all have — to tell the truth. Just say it, sell it. Anything you practice you’ll get good at — including BS.”

It is always nice to see actors and actresses speak out when they know the repercussions are big for being conservative in an industry where it is not really popular to express those kinds of opinions.
