Once again the liberal snowflake protesters show their true colors again after liberal universities have enabled them. Students at Ohio State University tried to occupy the area outside of the President’s office. The President proceeded to respectfully and politely inform the protesters that they must move or they would be arrested and expelled. They eventually left.
It makes perfect sense why these administrators asked them to leave. This nonsense is unnecessary. If nothing else, they are teaching here students how the real world works. In the real world this ridiculousness wouldn’t be tolerated.
You want to know what they were protesting? Well apparently a young man, working his first job for experience, decided he didn’t like how the dress code at his internship wasn’t lax enough. He noticed another employee not wearing shoes in line with the dress code. So he decided to gang up with his fellow interns to write a proposal asking for a more lax dress code. They even put together a petition.
In the young mans own words,
“The next day, all of us who signed the petition were called into a meeting where we thought our proposal would be discussed. Instead, we were informed that due to our “unprofessional” behavior, we were being let go from our internships. We were told to hand in our ID badges and to gather our things and leave the property ASAP.”
He went on,
“We were shocked. The proposal was written professionally like examples I have learned about in school, and our arguments were thought out and well-reasoned. We weren’t even given a chance to discuss it. The worst part is that just before the meeting ended, one of the managers told us that the worker who was allowed to disobey the dress code was a former soldier who lost her leg and was therefore given permission to wear whatever kind of shoes she could walk in. You can’t even tell, and if we had known about this we would have factored it into our argument.”
What kind of soft, thin skinned babies are our universities creating these days? Apparently so ring like this could destroy these fragile young individuals. How cute, they’re working their first job. They just got a great lesson on how the world works.
