College campuses throughout the country call themselves centers for higher education when really many are just training centers to engrain leftist thought in impressionable young minds. The most guilty campuses known for this type of agenda happen to also be the most expensive, taking people’s money and training young adults to walk in liberal lockstep out into the world. However, this mentality just reached a new low with the apparent reparations black students were just given that whites had to give up at graduation for their darker pigmented counterparts.
The liberal agenda knows no bounds and the divisiveness they cause with it runs deep. While they preach for equality and acceptance of all, they practice just the opposite to benefit one race with the cost to the other, as if whites of current day somehow deserve to pay for something they had no part in. This doesn’t fix anything, it only makes the problem worse, especially with what Harvard just did, despite being one of the most prestigious universities in the nation.
“After the decades of action civil rights activists have spent supposedly trying to make Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream a reality, where people are judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin, we’ve come full circle,” Michele Hickford reported for Allen B. West today after a massive change was made to this year’s graduation ceremonies.
While earning a degree from Harvard is a giant leap forward in society and leg up over others competing with you to get a job, the university just took a big step back with how they are handing out diplomas.
There will be two graduation ceremonies — one for blacks and one for whites — separating students for this momentous event by skin color. One race doesn’t have privilege over the other since all are graduating from a school many Americans couldn’t ever afford to attend, but Harvard apparently wants to give special recognition to blacks graduating from college and perhaps thinks whites being there would take that away from them somehow.
The Daily Wire reports with praise for this plan:
“Aside from studying and taking grueling tests, if you’re a minority, the outer pressures of society make the already challenging coursework even more difficult. Knowing this, Black members of the class of 2017 decided to form an individual ceremony. It’s the first of its kind at the school in recent memory and took nearly a year to plan,” reports BET.
“The separate graduation is an effort to highlight the aforementioned struggles and resilience it takes to get through those.”
In case you are thinking the obvious, that this is clear segregation of two races, rest assured to know that the African-American community doesn’t believe this in fact racist — since they decided it’s deserved.
Liberal propaganda outlet, The Root, who would rip any conservative site apart for celebrating the separation of blacks and whites at two different graduations, lamented the struggles of college life for these darker skinned students despite the fact that they’re at Harvard.
“The ceremony comes at a time when the experiences of Black students on college campuses in America have been marked by incidents of overt racism, microaggressions, passive racist comments, and the marginalization of minority experiences in both reading assignments and learning materials.”
“This is an opportunity to celebrate Harvard’s Black excellence and Black brilliance,” Harvard graduate Michael Huggins told The Root, after helping orchestrate this separated graduation. “It’s an event where we can see each other and our parents and family can see us as a collective, whole group. A community.”
“This is not about segregation,” he continued. “It’s about fellowship and building a community. This is a chance to reaffirm for each other that we enter the work world with a network of supporters standing with us. We are all partners.”
If this is about “building a community” then why put them into two compartments and take a step back in time after having overcome segregation? White people can be supporters of black graduates, sharing in the academic achievement that all students accomplished. It’s not a community of all cultures they’re trying to promote, it’s flipping the script on whites and regressing nearly 60 years, to a time they wanted to overcome only, to take us back there with reverse racism.
