Following Donald Trump’s victory, the latest bogus narrative of the Left emerged: that the nation is witnessing a wave of hate crimes as racist Trump supporters feel “validated” and go out rampaging the nation.
It’s a bit of a bizarre claim since it’s only the anti-Trump protesters we ever see blocking highways, smashing storefront windows, and setting cop cars ablaze. But apparently we’re supposed to believe Trump supporters apparently were under the delusion they’d been transported into the movie “The Purge” following his victory.
Also bizarre was the fact that the only place we seemed to be able to find examples of such alleged pro-Trump hate crimes was through alleged victims who reported their experiences on Twitter: not to the police. You’d think those who suffered a hate crime would at least want to tell the police about it, no? There’s countless hours of footage of Trump supporters being assaulted, but there don’t seem to be any videos of the opposite happening. Many of those who’ve reported the hate crimes they supposedly suffered in The Donald’s name have found themselves exposed as the perpetrator of the fictitious crimes.
Meanwhile, perhaps the most disgusting assault on a Trump supporter happened yesterday – and it was live-streamed. As CBS Chicago reported: Four people are in custody after a live-streamed video of a duct-taped man appearing to be tortured. Police say the man victimized in the broadcast is a special-needs person who had been reported missing from a suburb.
In the video, believed to be from Tuesday, the victim’s clothes were cut, he was peppered with cigarette ashes, and then his hair cut with a knife until his scalp bled. Several people can be seen laughing and eating during the attack, in addition to making disparaging remarks about President-elect Donald Trump. Chants of “F*** Donald Trump!” and “F*** white people!” can be heard in the video.
Sanity prevailed, and these people were charged with a hate crime. As the IJ Review reported:
The four suspects who are accused of kidnapping and torturing a mentally disabled man in Chicago have been identified and charged with multiple felonies, including the commission of a hate crime.
Chicago police identified the suspects as Jordan Hill, Tesfaye Cooper, Brittany Covington, and Tanishia Covington.

Serves them right. Everyone following this story knows that it’s a hate crime – except for the geniuses over at CNN, apparently.
