FBI law enforcement officials stormed a house in Brownsburg, Indiana yesterday and arrested a teenager who allegedly was trying to joint ISIS. The scene took place near the Brownsburg Pointe Apartments. The FBI released a statement,
“The FBI is conducting investigative activity in Brownsburg, Indiana, today however the nature of the activity can’t be disclosed at this time.”
FOX59 reported the man who was arrested was 18-year-old Akram Musleh. Others at his residence were questioned in connection to him.

The young man was reportedly trying to leave the country to go to Morocco and then Libya. He was intercepted at an Indianapolis Greyhound station trying to leave for New York. As shown on the criminal complaint filed by the Department of Justice. Prior to his departure he researched online about possible terror targets in Indiana, pressure cookers, and explosive materials.
Pressure cookers have been used in the past to create homemade bombing devices such as the ones the Boston marathon bombers used in 2013.
Musleh came to the attention of the FBI in 2013 after he posted videos on YouTube of Islamic terrorist and Al Qaeda cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki. The man is thought to have been responsible for encouraging and inspiring a large amount of domestically homegrown terrorists.
In 2014 Musleh bought a black flag online that is associated with ISIS. In several online correspondences that were under surveillance he spoke of ISIS sympathizers and his desire to join ISIS. Even pledging allegiance to the terrorist organization.
He is being represented by a public defender according to a Department of Justice spokesman. The maximum sentence for his crimes are 20 years in prison.
The irony of it all is that he was plotting to join a terror group whose sole purpose is to kill Americans and our way of life. Yet he has a lawyer that is defending him in court being paid by American taxpayers. People he wanted to destroy. Should he get convicted he will be on the government and taxpayer dole for twenty years as they pay for his house and board.
