While the media has been mum lately about police brutality and violence against police officers themselves it does not mean that things are not still happening. Four police officers were murdered in the span of twenty four hours, yet mainstream liberal media has refused to report on it. Here are their stories,

The first officer was Sergeant Allen Brandt of Fairbanks, Alaska who passed away on October 16th. He responded to a call of shots fired which is one of the most dangerous calls police officers get.

The sergeant saw a suspect, later known as Anthony George Jenkins Alexi. When he went to confront the suspect with his vehicle the man shot the sergeant five time in both the leg and chest. While the chest shots hit his bulletproof vest he got shrapnel to the left eye. The suspect left the scene with the officers vehicle but he was later arrested. Sergeant Brandt was 40 with four kids.

After Brandt was shot, he made a video about it. He had told his family he thought he was going to be shot on the night that he was. He died from complications from his surgery last Friday.

Another law enforcement victim was Myron Jarrett of Detroit. He passed on Friday and was an eight year police officer veteran. He was hit while researching an unrelated incident. A vehicle was driven by Steven Guzina and it sped towards Jarrett and two other cops and it struck Jarrett. Guzina reportedly had issues with crack cocaine and alcohol. The suspect fled the seen and was later arrested after a massive manhunt. Jarrett was married with four kids and died do to complications associated with being hit.

Detroit police chief James Craig said,

“His service to the community was important. He did make a difference.”

The third fatality was Detective Jason Schweitzer of Lexington, Kentucky who passed early Saturday morning. He was a fifteen year vet of the police forced. His injuries were sustained due to standing on a sidewalk while in the process of given directions to someone. They both were kit and killed by the drunk driver. The murderer was 26 year old Suzanne Whitlow and she was charged with two counts of manslaughter and one count of driving under the influence. The detective was married with one kid and had another on the way.

The last fatality was Officer James Brockmeyer who passed late on Friday night and worked for the Chester Police Department. He died when he was killed after a crash while in the pursuit of a fleeing car. He had only worked 10 months for the department. He was also a recent graduate of the Southwestern Illinois Police Academy this past April. In addition to his work as a officer he was a volunteer firefighter.

The police chief said,

“He was a very well-respected man in the community. Dedicated and a true professional.”

All of these officers lives mattered yet the mainstream liberal media has remained mum on the issue while it goes largely unreported. They were public servants, fathers, husbands, brothers and human beings. They mattered to the people around them yet the media does not report on the violence they face by the community they serve.
