Free Tickets Offered In December To Vets, Military & Their Families

Veterans Ticket Foundation (Vet Tix) is offering free tickets to 12 events in December, 2016, to veterans, servicemembers, and their families. It is a national non-profit, non-governmental 501c(3) tax-exempt organization.

Vet Tix:

“teams up with major sports teams, leagues, promoters, organizations, venues and ticket holders to provide free and discounted tickets to the more than 21 million Military and Veterans.”

They include

sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation.”

Potential recipients can access tickets to various events across the country by creating an account online at their websiteSign-up includes five different categories of individuals:

I am Currently Serving

I am a Veteran (all Honorably Discharged and Retirees) *

I am a Severely Wounded Veteran (Purple Heart) *

Gold Star – I am the Primary Next of Kin of someone who was Killed In Action.

Surviving Spouse of Service-member – with service connected death.”

The accounts will be created once their military service has been verified.

Chuck Yarling has had many titles in his career thus far: veteran, engineer, math teacher, consultant, technical writer, book author and publisher, and triathlete. He was a member the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Bugles Across America, which plays Taps at military funerals and special events. Spec. 5 Chuck Yarling served with the 26th Combat Engineering Battalion in Vietnam as an awards clerk.
