Considering the cancer of liberalism that has infected Hollywood, it can be a career-ender to come out as a conservative, or to support a candidate who isn’t liberal-approved. Luckily for Garth Brooks, he’s a legendary country music star, and has been around long enough that he can do pretty much whatever he wants. So he wasn’t afraid to say that he would be proud to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Earlier this month, Elton John made a desperate attempt to get his name in the headlines by announcing that he was refusing to perform at Trump’s inauguration, even though he hadn’t even been asked. Hillary Clinton and her team, in their arrogance, had apparently already booked him to play for her.
Brooks, however, took a completely different approach. He’s spoken out in support of Trump, and acknowledged that he would be happy to perform for him. While Brooks was rehearsing to sing at the National Mall for the Christmas Tree lighting in Washington, D.C., a TMZ reporter asked if he was planning to sing.
Brooks responded, “It’s always about serving, you know. It’s what you do.”
It’s nice to see a celebrity with a good head on their shoulders for once! Do you think Trump should ask Garth Brooks to perform?
