Government Agency Goes Behind Trump’s Back To Give Muslims Something Most Americans Can’t Even Get

And once again America has proven how generously stupid we are as a nation.

The United States Senator from the great state of Wisconsin, Ron Johnson, last week has called on Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin to review the IRS’s failure to crack down on “fraudulent overpayments” of the child tax credit to illegal immigrants under Former President Barack Hussein Obama’s IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.

It seems that under the Obama administration the Internal Revenue Service continued to provide a significant incentive for illegal immigration, especially to Muslims coming from terrorist hotspots. They failed to prevent the issuance of billions of dollars for fraudulent “child tax credits” by the IRS. Yes, the same IRS which targeted Tea Party groups under Barry Obama’s Administration turns a blind eye to law breakers.

The letter reads:

Senator Johnson cited a 2011 report showing that $4.2 billion was paid out to people who were not legally eligible to work in the United States.

The Washington Examiner Reports:

Sen. Ron Johnson is calling on Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin to review the IRS’s failure to crack down on “fraudulent overpayments” of the child tax credit to illegal immigrants under IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.

In a letter to Mnuchin sent last week and made public Thursday, Johnson, who chairs the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, said the IRS is making overpayments to illegal immigrants who apply for the Additional Child Tax Credit, the refundable part of the child tax credit. Those payments are possible because applicants do not have to submit their Social Security number.

“Under the Obama administration … the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) continued to provide a significant incentive for illegal immigration by failing to prevent the issuance of billions of dollars in fraudulent overpayments of the Additional Child Tax Credit to illegal aliens,” Johnson wrote in the May 26 letter. He cited a 2011 report showing that $4.2 billion was paid out to people who not legally eligible to work in the United States.

“Despite the administration’s prioritization of border security and calls from Republicans, Democrats, and an independent inspector general for the IRS to correct this problem, the committee learned in recent testimony that the IRS, under Commissioner John Koskinen, allows these fraudulent overpayments to persist,” he wrote. Johnson asked the Treasury Department to review those payments for possible fraud.

For years, people have filed for ACTC payments with their Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, including many who are living in the U.S. illegally or are foreign workers. Most recently, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration determined that the IRS paid out $3.4 billion to ITIN filers as of 2015.

“The IRS’s failure to remedy this vulnerability on its own accord not only continues to cost taxpayers billions of dollars every year, but also provides an incentive for illegal immigration into the country,” Johnson added.

The Wisconsin Republican asked the Treasury Department to brief the committee’s staff on ACTC fraud by June 9.

Improper payments continue to be a problem for the IRS. According to the inspector general’s report in early May, the rate of improper payments hovers around 25 percent for the earned income tax credit, the ACTC, and the American Opportunity tax credit, which benefits college students.

President Trump’s budget called for major savings through new efforts to make sure illegal immigrants do not receive these credits.

The IG also said the IRS policy raised concerns that “fraudulent refund issues are present on illegal alien tax returns.”The problem was not fixed.

The IG’s 2009 audit report examined six tax years — 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 — to see how much the IRS had paid out in ACTC money to people using ITINs who were “not authorized to work” in the United States. In 2000, according to the IG, the IRS paid $62 million to 62,000 illegal aliens; in 2001, it paid $161 million to 203,000 illegal aliens; in 2004, it paid $778 million to 626,000 illegal aliens; in 2005, it paid $1.063 billion to 810,000 illegal aliens; in 2006, it paid $1.407 billion to 1,016,000 illegal aliens; and in 2007, it paid $1.777 billion to 1,220,000 illegal aliens.

In 2008, this report revealed, the IRS paid $2.14 billion in ACTC money to 1.53 million illegal aliens; in 2009, it paid $2.86 billion to 1.85 million illegal aliens; and in 2010, it paid $4 billion to 2.18 million illegal aliens. Overall nine years the IG audited, the IRS paid $14.228 billion in ACTC money to illegal aliens.

This is one of the most outrageous malpractices we have ever seen coming out of our out of control government.  We have laws for a reason. Why is it we all have to follow them unless you are an illegal or the US government?

The same IRS that targeted Obama’s enemies during the 8 long and dark years that was his dreadful presidency always seems to be on the side of everyone except the tax paying idiot that is the legal American citizen. Maybe it’s time we called it what it really is. Taxation is theft and the IRS are the mercenaries our out of control government employs to shake us down.

People are so terrified of the IRS that in recent studies conducted by independent parties, it was discovered that a majority of Americans would rather be diagnosed with Cancer than having to deal with an audit by this criminal organization.  This is a truly terrifying fact that shouldn’t be happening in our great nation.

This isn’t what our founding fathers had in mind!
