People have said that there is no such thing as bad press, but in some instances that may not be the case.
In Texas City, Texas, a local plumber has found out that his vehicle that he sold over a year ago has ended up in the hands of Syrian Jihadists, and now his phones are ringing off the hook, believing that he is aiding and abetting terrorists.
In November of last year, Mark Oberholtzer sold his truck to AutoNation dealership and did not remove his companies decals off the vehicle, believing that the dealership would.
Of course most are wondering how in the world did a plumbers truck from Texas get into the hands of an Islamists terrorist group?
According to KHOU 11 News, the truck was immediately sent to auction and was sold several times before ending up in the hands of the jihadists.
Oberholtzer has said that his business has been receiving an influx of calls since the picture of his truck was posted to Twitter and said, “A few of the people are really ugly.”
The family has reassured everyone that they have no terrorist connections and that they are hoping that none of this will affect their business.
“To think something we would use to pull trailers, now is being used for terror, it’s crazy. Never in my lifetime would think something like that,” said Oberholtzer.
What do you think about this?
