Gee, it sounds as if Hillary Clinton feels she’s at a physical disadvantage in the first debate this Monday with Donald Trump. She is, but hey… that’s the way it is. Trump is an impressive 6’2″. Hillary will look small, old and frail next to him on that stage and she knows it. That’s not an optic a potential world leader wants in front of voters. She asked for a step stool to give her more stature and was turned down over it. Instead, the podiums will be adjusted for each candidate to make them comfortable. That will make Clinton look even worse.
Not only that, but the Clinton camp requested potty breaks for the Hildabeast. I’m not kidding. Again, she was told no. It’s a 90 minute face-off and she may make a mess before that is over. Cleanup on stage 1! That’s if she doesn’t have a seizure or pass out. Just sayin’.
From the Conservative Tribune:
Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s camp requested to have the most embarrassing piece of equipment to help her stand tall against Donald Trump during the debate on Monday — a step stool so that she would not be dwarfed by Republican rival Donald Trump’s 6’2″ frame.
Hillary, standing at only 5’4″, was apparently worried that she would look short and weak standing next to theRepublican presidential nominee, but the commission for the debate basically said tough luck as the rejected her request.
Instead, according to the Drudge Report, they will be making a custom podium that will help accommodate for the differences in height.
But wait, there’s more! Hillary’s camp also reportedly questioned whether there would be any commercial breaks during the 90-minute showdown. The answer was a resounding no.
In fact, Debate moderator Lester Holt does not even have the authority to cut away from the stage during the debate — even if Hillary faints or has another coughing spell.
It was also noted that microphone audio for both Trump and Clinton was not to be manipulated, so everything will be out in the open — warts and all.
It should be quite a show Monday and it is to be seen if Hillary can out-debate Trump. Whoever wins this first debate will have a distinct advantage. Frankly, I just don’t know what to expect. If something does happen, you will not only see it, but you’ll hear all of it as that has been mandated by the debate committee. If Hillary can’t last 90 minutes on a stage, she can’t lead this country. It’s just that brutally simple.
Monday’s debate is reportedly expected to draw 100 million viewers, which would make it the biggest political event in history. If Clinton falters, she will be history in this race. That is almost a certainty at this point. America is clamoring for a strong leader… the odds favor Trump. Will Hillary freeze or seize?
