Would it kill Hillary to NOT be under Federal investigation for once?
Aside from her scandals stretching back decades, in just the past few years first there was Benghazi, then the email scandal, and now attention has been turned on the Clinton Foundation.
It’s not hard to see why. In 2013, the Foundation spent a mere 10 percent of its budget on charitable grants – compared to an equal 10 percent on travel, 33 percent on salaries/benefits, and 47 percent on all other expenses (rent, supplies, IT). Look at actual charities like the American Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders, and you’ll find that they spent eight cents, and ten cents on the dollar, respectively, on overhead. That’s in comparison to 90% for the Clinton Foundation.
Even more suspicious, she released her tax return last Friday, and it showed that she made just over $1 million in charitable donations. Where did those donations go? Nearly all to the Clinton Foundation, of course. Essentially, this allowed her to write-off $1 million from her taxable income, and moving it into an organization where she can still have access to it. Admittedly, as someone with a degree in Finance I’m a bit impressed.
Something fishy is going on at the Clinton Foundation, and now even the FBI is looking into it…. again!
Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has proven time and time again that she is above the law. Now a new investigation into the Clinton Foundation begs the question once more, will Clinton every be held accountable?
The Daily Caller Reported:
Multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation, according to a former senior law enforcement official.
The investigation centers on New York City where the Clinton Foundation has its main offices, according to the former official who has direct knowledge of the activities.
Prosecutorial support will come from various U.S. Attorneys Offices — a major departure from other centralized FBI investigations.
The New York-based probe is being led by Preet Bharara, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Bharara’s prosecutorial aggressiveness has resulted in a large number of convictions of banks, hedge funds and Wall Street insiders.
The official said involvement of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York “would be seen by agents as a positive development as prosecutors there are generally thought to be more aggressive than the career lawyers within the DOJ.”
Will Hillary FINALLY be held accountable for her actions? If that ends up being the case, it only took a few decades.
