Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton met with the editorial board of New Hampshire’s Daily Sun on Tuesday. Columnist Tom McLaughlin pressed Mrs. Clinton about family members of the four men who were killed saying that she told them an “internet video” was the cause of the attack.
According to the Sun,
McLaughlin said she told an Egyptian diplomat the Benghazi attack was planned and not a protest but that she told family members of the deceased that the attack was the result of a demonstration. He said she then told George Stephanopoulos that she didn’t tell the families the attack was a demonstration about a film.
“Somebody is lying,” said McLaughlin.”Who is it?
Clinton replied, “Not me, that’s all I can tell you.”
Kate Quigley, the sister of former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty who was killed in the Benghazi attack, spoke with the Boston Herald about Mrs. Clinton’s statements earlier this month. In the interview, Quigley says Clinton is the one lying about what she told her, and other family members about why the consulate in Benghazi was attacked.
The Daily Sun also reports that:
McLaughlin said three family members victims said that Clinton told him that the attack was the result of the video and or that the filmmaker should be arrested.
Clinton replied that other family members believe differently and stressed she had sympathy for all involved.
While Hillary continues to deny she told family members that the attacks were caused by an “internet video,” here is Mrs. Clinton telling them exactly that at Andrews Air Force Base on September 14, 2012.
So here we have a presidential hopeful, so caught up in her lies, she won’t even admit the truth when there is clear evidence that she told the families of the Benghazi victims (and the public) that a video was the cause of the attack. A serial liar is not a person we want as Commander in Chief. Nothing Mrs. Clinton says can be trusted, and those who bravely serve in our military would have no faith in a person who has shown utter disregard for the truth.
