BREAKING: Homeland Security Just Dropped HUGE Announcement That’s Not Looking Good For Barack Obama

During his last year in office, Obama raised the number of refugees admitted to the United States from 70,000 to 85,000, which included 10,000 Syrian refugees. Hillary Clinton planned to bring that up to 55,000 if she was elected – and thank God that didn’t happen.

Donald Trump has spent his first week undoing the Obama legacy one issue at a time. Immigration, ObamaCare, abortion – the list continues. The latest, of course, is Obama’s refugee program.

As Western Journalism reported:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has halted efforts by staff to interview refugees, according to two sources that spoke with Reuters Thursday.

Reuters reported Tuesday that President Donald Trump will sign an executive order restricting refugees and would also halt issuing visas for citizens of Syria and six other countries.

Today’s Reuters report appears to confirm that a ban on all refugees is imminent. White House spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters Thursday that Trump may sign several executive orders on Friday, but the exact content of those orders is not yet known.

Becca Heller, director of the International Refugee Assistance Project at the New York-based Urban Justice Center, told Reuters she was informed of the moratorium on refugee interviews by several sources both from in and outside of government.

The decision to halt the overseas interview component of the refugee process could greatly slow down the process even if the pause were only temporary.

“In the past, when we’ve frozen the refugee program to re-examine security issues, it’s been really important to continue processing even if you can’t admit people, because processing times in this program can be two to three years,” Heller said.

Following his decision, Trump told Sean Hannity “Right now, the FBI has over 1,000 [terrorism] investigations going on … and these are people that we let in.” Unlike our neighbors across the Atlantic, Trump is going to take any risks with our citizen’s lives to they can virtue signal to the rest of the globe how “tolerant” they all are.
