As more frantic parents protest the proselytizing of Islam in our public schools’ Common Core curriculum, “hundreds of schools, leadership teams, and teachers from across the region will gather in Dubai, to learn about the Common Core State Standards, share curricula and best practices, and network with each other.” on October 24 and 25.
If Common Core is local and state-led why are they holding Common Core conferences in an Islamic country?
The other was closely related to the U.S.-Muslim Engagement initiative: The Doha Compact: New Directions: America and the Muslim World, from the Saban Center of the Brookings Institution’s Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World. The Doha Compact appeared in October 2008.
Before moving forward with the post, a side note. I wonder if these hundreds of dhimmi American teachers and educators were fully warned about sharia enforcement in Dubai. Were they told of the Norwegian woman was raped then jailed in Dubai for sex outside marriage? Were they made aware of the Islamic law which could land them in jail?
Female travellers and workers are particularly vulnerable to sexual assault. For a conviction to occur, the attacker must confess or it need to be witnessed by four adult males who confirm that a sexual assault took place.
Australian Alicia Gali was jailed for adultery for eight months in 2008 after she complained to police that her co-workers at a resort in nearby Fujairah drugged her and raped her. In December last year, a British woman was kidnapped and gang-raped and later fined for admitting she had a drink hours before the attack she said was spiked.
The federal government’s Smart Traveller website warns that victims of sexual assault can face charges: “It is possible that victims of sexual assault may be charged by UAE authorities for engaging in sex outside of marriage and be dealt with according to the criminal law. There have been cases in the UAE where sexual assault victims have been imprisoned after reporting an incident to local police or upon seeking medical assistance.”
Tourists should take care to abide by local laws and customs when they travel to Dubai.
Here’s a list of what not to do in Dubai:
Drinking: Drinking or being drunk in public is not tolerated and the legal drinking age is 21. you should only drink in a hotel.
Public displays of affection: Holding hands, kissing or gets cosy with your other half could lead to arrest and imprisonment.
Sex outside marriage: Sex between those who are not married is illegal and can lead to severe criminal sanctions.
Homosexuality: Homosexual acts are illegal and subject to severe punishment.
Swearing: Swearing and making rude gestures, such as the middle finger, are criminal acts in the UAE.
Swimwear: Wearing bathers outside the beach is against Dubai’s decent laws and swimsuits in general should be modest. Nudity at beaches is illegal.
Smoking: Lighting up in a shopping mall, government building or shop can result in a fine.
Clothing: Woman’s clothing may be considered indecent if it is tight, transparent, above the knee or shows her stomach, shoulders or back. Men should wear T-shirts at all times and short shorts can attract the wrong kind of attention.
Conversation: It is illegal to “harass” women – this includes unwanted conversation and prolonged stares or eye contact.
Photos: Taking photographs of people, particularly women, without permission is illegal and can lead to arrest or fines.
Ramadan: During Ramadan, it is illegal for non-Muslims to eat, drink or smoke in public in front of Muslims between sunrise and sunset.
Medicines: Many medications available over the counter or by prescription in Australia are illegal in the Dubai.
Drugs: The UAE laws on drugs are extremely strict, and include the death penalty or life in jail
A string of British tourists have been jailed for offences such as a peck on the cheek, been caught in a compromising position on the beach and for engaging in sex outside marriage….. (more here)
A concerned Williamson County [Tenn.] parent stumbled upon this, “On October 24 and 25, hundreds of schools, leadership teams, and teachers from across the region will gather inDubai, to learn about the Common Core State Standards, share curricula and best practices, and network with each other.”
“If Common Core is local and state-led why are they holding Common Core conferences in the Middle East including more than 20 other nations? If Williamson Strong is local and parent-ledwhy is their logo included among the international organizations sponsoring this event?” asks Julie West. And, what is MENA? Middle East North Africa Common Core.
Common Core was NOT created by “the Governors” as the Liberals repeatedly lie. It was not a “state-led” initiative. It began with the United Nations, (who now control all of America’s national monuments, facts here.)
Now, how does all of this information affect Williamson County citizens? Well, there is an ongoing local war surrounding this Common Core “thing” where Progressives like Superintendent Looney, Huffman, Haslam, and a new SEIU organization called “Williamson Strong” are attacking and intimidating Christians and Conservatives, most recently at the Centennial High School “Let’s Talk Schools” event, where newly elected District 12 School Board Member, anti-Common Core, Susan Curlee was placed in a room alone with school attorney Jason Golden. Superintendent Looney, for the first time ever separated school board members into separate rooms and told parents/citizens to go room to room, with 15 minutes allotted to ask questions to each board member individually. Strangely, a group of Williamson Strong Progressives stopped and stayed in one room for over an hour, the Curlee/Golden room.
Do read it all and ask yourself, why are U.S. educators, textbook publishers and other Common Core profiteers meeting in the Islamic country of Dubai?Could this explain in part why the growing trend of Islamic bias and propaganda in U.S. textbooks?
There’s more to this …..

Supporters of Common Core love claiming Common Core is a state led initiative. Proponents of the scheme will instantly label anyone who says otherwise a conspiracy nut and fit them for a tin foil hat. Jeb Bush recently called opponents of Common Core the Black Helicopter bunch. Obama’s Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan took a different tack, calling opponents of the plan White Suburban Soccer Moms upset because their kid wasn’t as smart as they thought.
Regardless of how they try phrase the answers.. one thing is now certain. Bush, Duncan and the rest are not being honest with the American People about Common Core.
Two weeks ago Gretchen from the Missouri Education Watchdog sent me a link to a website that was talking about The 2nd Annual MENA Common Core Conference.. In Dubai.. The Conference is being sponsored by Middle East North Africa Common Core. MENA seems to be closely affiliated with Know.Do.Serve.Learn (KDSL). According to their website, KDSL offers Global Educational Collaboration Services and the mission is: to partner with education organizations worldwide in order to increase student achievement, teacher knowledge, and education leadership. Anyway, about the conference:
On October 24th and 25th hundreds of education professionals and scholars from the Middle East, North Africa and America will gather in Dubai for a symposium on implementing Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in regional American curriculum schools. The goal of this annual conference is to inform education professionals aboutimplementing the CCSS in English Language Arts and Mathematics in their schools. The conference also seeks to
empower teachers to increase the academic success of their students, showcase exceptional CCSS aligned classroom resources and connect CCSS educators across the Middle East and North Africa. Last years conference, the first of its kind, attracted over 300 attendees from 7 countries and 23 speakers. This year’s conference will exceed those numbers

Hmm, Does that mean we now know Obama found the extra 7 states he campaigned in? Come to think of it if you recall his Cairo Speech he did talk about linking American and Middle East Classrooms.
Anyway, several of us, Danette Clark, Sara Noble, Missouri Education Watchdog, along with Grumpy contributors Little Tboca. Lady Impact Ohio, Puma, Sarge and myself decided to dig a little deeper.. and publish what we found the day the Dubai Conference started.
We found more than any of us expected..
It’s hard to know where to start..
Back in 2002 the US Department of Education, with help from Bill Gates (Microsoft Corp), Steve Jobs (Apple), AOL Time Warner, Dell Computer. Cable in the Classrooms, Cisco Systems and the National Education set up an organization called; Partnership for 21st Century Skills or P21.org for short. I originally found p21.org from a link on the teachUNICEF website.. Yep UNICEF is still part of the United Nations The link was titled: Have you seen the Partnership for 21st Century Skills’ new report on Global Education? Among other things I found on the site were articles titled A Framework For State Action on Global Education and P21 has embarked on a year long project to redefine and reimagine 21st century citizenship,
So we have what appears to be a Non Government Organization, set up by some huge corporations and the US Department of Education to promote something that sounds a whole lot like Common Core on a Global Scale..
But it gets better..
I checked on the website for the Council of Chief State School Officers, As most of you know, the CCSSO along with the National Governors Association are the fine folks who shoved Common Core down our throats.. Between them they own all the Copyrights to Common Core. While they like to claim 45 states approved Common Core.. The truth is only 4 state legislatures even saw the standards before the states started implementing them.. In the other 41 states the standards were approved very quietly by often un-elected state education chiefs, and state boards of education. Most state legislators didn’t know a thing about Common Core being implemented in their states until parents started asking questions… From there I took a look at the National Governors Association site. I didn’t happen to notice anything on either site that wasn’t already public knowledge..
So I paid a visit the the US Chamber of Commerce Education and Job Development Website… As most of you know the Chamber has spent a fortune on Pro Common Core Ads and contributions to pro Common Core Political Candidates.. That’s when it hit me..
Their address Suite 700 #One Massachusetts Ave. N.W, Washington DC. The Council of Chief State School Officers, The Chamber of Commerce Education Division and Partnership for 21st Century Skills all have exactly the same address, right down to the suite of offices.. They either share office space, and work very closely together, or they’re the same organization using different names for different purposes. The National Governors Association is conveniently located right around the corner on North Capitol Street..Less than a block away..
Getting back to Bill Gates.. as most of you know he’s spent over $150,000,000.00 promoting Common Core according to some estimates he’s spent over a billion dollars on various education schemes globally. He may have a hellva good reason..
Big hat tip here to Danette Clark, she told me about a contract Gates signed with the United Nations back in 2004, two years after he and the Department of Education set up p21.org
In a way, Barack Obama, Arnie Duncan and Jeb Bush might be being honest when they say there’s no Federal Plan to take over our educational system, that statement doesn’t preclude corporate sponsored globalization..
Besides; given the fact Bill Gates has given JEb’s Foundation for Excellence in Education over $5,000,000.00 since 2010, and he’s contributed generously to Barack Obama’s political campaigns.. it’s understandable they want to help him.. Besides, the entire Bush clan and Barack Obama are globalists who believe in one world government..
Maybe we should send them some tin foil hats
