Joe Biden has some rough comments for Donald Trump the other day when speaking at a rally for Hillary Clinton. “The press always asks me, don’t I wish I were debating him?” Biden said. “No, I wish we were in high school, and I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish.”
As both Biden and Trump are in their seventies, admittedly I’m not sure either of them would make it out of a fight with eachother alive.
But knowing Trump, it was only a matter of time he replied to Biden’s comments. He’s came up with some interesting names this election for his opponents – little Marco, low energy Jeb!, lyin’ Ted, and crooked Hillary. Now there’s a new one: “tough guy” Biden.
As Hannity reported, Trump replied, stating:
“Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the back of the barn? Me? He wants it. I’d love that. I’d love that! Mr. Tough Guy!,” Trump said to the audience. “You know when he’s Mr. Tough Guy? When he’s standing behind a microphone by himself. That’s when – He wants to bring me to the back of the barn. Oooh . . . Some things in life, you could really love doing . . . And by the way, if I’d said that, they’d say, ‘He’s violent! How could he have done that?'”
What’s next? A charity boxing match between the two? I’d watch it.
Trump also pointed out that there’s a media double-standard in the coverage of Biden’s comments. Imagine if Trump had said he’s want to fight one of his political opponents.
“And by the way, if I’d said that they would say, ‘He’s violent. How could he have done that?'” Trump stated.
If they do go behind the gym, Biden had better watch out, because Trump is an experienced professional wrestler…
To be continued.
