Kellyanne Conway Unloads On Romney: “We Don’t Even Know If He Voted For Donald Trump” (VIDEO)

Kellyanne Conway has taken on almost every media outlet in defense of President Elect Donald Trump as his campaign manager. Even going on to MSNBC. Conway has been stalwart in her disapproval of Mitt Romney being a potential Secretary of State for Donald Trump. They infamously met for a meeting to discuss the potential. Many staunch Trump supporters are unhappy as they feel if he were nominated that it would not be indicative of draining the swamp.

Count Kellyanne Conway as one of the detractors. She went onto CNN to denounced Mitt Romney as an option. She said,

“The backlash from the grassroots, I’m hearing people saying, “hey my parents died penniless, but I gave 216 dollars to Donald Trump’s campaign and I feel betrayed.” I’ve had people say. “I thought we got rid of this type.”

What I’m just saying is we don’t even know if Mitt Romney voted for Donald Trump. He put Evan McMullin up in Utah. So I think there are concerns that those of us who are loyal have. You want someone, a Secretary of State who is loyal to the president and the president’s vision of the world.”

Conway even went onto NBC’s Meet the Press to express the same sentiment saying,

“People feel betrayed to think that Governor Romney, who went out of his way to question the character and the intellect and the integrity of Donald Trump, now our president-elect, would be given the most significant cabinet post of all, Secretary of State. They feel a bit betrayed that you can get a Romney back in there after everything he did.”

Conway has always been ardently loyal to Trump so for her to publicly call out Mitt Romney who her boss is considering seems rather odd. Unless he was never going to nominate Romney to begin with and did it to just appease the moderate Republicans and establishment Republicans. If she is bashing him on major cable news networks then in all likelihood Trump is not going to make him Secretary of State.

Or she could very well be playing a good cop bad cop game where Trump is the good cop to the establishment Republicans and his hound dogs are the bad cops denouncing their establishment antics and appealing to the base of people who got him elected.

It would be ridiculous. To place someone in your cabinet who people in your own inner circle despise.
