A letter sent Wednesday by the Office of Refugee Resettlement says states may not deny benefits and services to refugees based on a refugee’s country of origin or religious affiliation.
States who don’t comply “could be subject to enforcement action.” Meaning, goodbye federal funds.
I guess nothing this guy does anymore surprises us, but it’s still jaw-dropping nonetheless.
So, whether or not you live in a state who has a governor that said ‘thanks, but no thanks’ to refugees, it’s not going to matter.
Refugees are coming, but don’t expect them to assimilate.
