The writer of the article below is from the Great Falls Tribune, and she describes in detail the panic attack she had when she encountered a man carrying a holstered gun. Yes, she even wrote an actual ‘news’ article about it, like her experience was newsworthy.
But in reality she just became the punchline.
Luckily for us, it gives me the honor to allow you to peek inside the great liberal moon-bat mind.
From Great Falls Tribune: As I strolled through Target the other day, feeling as safe as can be among the wondrous outlay of products available for purchase, I passed the furniture department where a man and woman shopped for a shelf.
Strapped to the man’s belt was a handgun in a hard-plastic case. I understand that in the gun community, such a weapon makes the carrier feel safe; however, it had the opposite effect on me. How was I to know that the person carrying that gun was someone I could trust? Would he, at any moment, misread a stranger’s comment or movement, pull his gun and blast him/her away?
I tell you, I didn’t breathe normally until I’d cleared the doors of Target and was heading to my car.[…]
Now, we have a plethora of gun bills being considered nationwide. It seems that the Republicans would bestow instant access to guns to anyone at any moment, whether on a college campus, (thanks to some sanity, that measure was defeated recently in Montana — but by a slim margin), on the streets, concealed or not, with no need of licensing either. The idea was even put forth to arm schoolteachers. Miss Grundy with a gun — who knows where that might end up?[…]
Through the use of ridiculous propaganda, the gun enthusiasts spread fear among communities as they spew false stories made up to terrify the ignorant, even to attacking a bill that would make it illegal for convicted stalkers and domestic abusers to carry guns. Coincidentally or not, one of the NRA’s own people was recently convicted of domestic abuse and stripped of his guns. The absurdity of “protecting” us from some government which will take our guns away makes me question the sanity of these proponents. Keep reading
