President Trump’s wonderful First Lady, Melania Trump, has won the first part of a $150 million libel suit where she filed a case against a blogger who, in a roundabout way, reported that she was a high-end escort.
I don’t know about you, but the last time I had a hooker who spoke five languages and was married to a millionaire was back in….oh that’s right. NOT EVER!!! That’s because prostitutes who are smart enough to speak five languages don’t exist. Women who speak that many languages are too intelligent to prance around the alley in fishnet stockings and garter belts, hooking up with random “johns” for a few bucks.
When you’re going to call someone a prostitute, then you make sure the story makes sense first. It doesn’t even make sense to call Melania an escort.
If there’s a power couple you don’t mess with, it’s people who are millionaires. Just so happens that this couple is the leadership of America and they have tons of money to spend to put a tiny blogger away in a rat hole of their mother’s basement.
If you report that Melania Trump, or anyone for that matter, worked as an escort, prostitute, hooker, toe-scrubber, or anything – then you better have proof. If you have proof, then usually you’re OK.
If you’re talking trash about the President’s wife, then you better have an attorney because your court appointed lawyer won’t cut it.
Don’t forget, Melania is married to Donald. If she didn’t sue this person, then he probably would’ve. You sneeze wrong on President Trump and you might catch a charge for assault.
Arguments from the blogger’s attorneys that the case should be dismissed because they failed to meet the standard of “actual malice” standard for high-profile public figures were dismissed by Judge Sharon Burrell of the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
“The court finds the plaintiff has stated a claim for defamation,” Burrell ruled after hearing arguments on the issue in a Rockville courtroom. “The court believes most people, when they hear the words ‘high-end escort’ that describes a prostitute. There could be no more defamatory statement than to call a woman a prostitute.”
The judge also accused Tarpley’s lawyers of playing “word games” by arguing that there was no libelous effect of his claims that Melania Trump suffered a mental breakdown that forced her off the campaign trail.
I don’t believe Melania suffered much of a mental breakdown. I believe she’s tough as nails and can handle any of the nonsense thrown her way. She’s married to President Trump. I’m sure she’s experienced moments of craziness in his celebrity stardom world.
Melania’s small victory is a victory for all of us.
The great thing about this case is that it’s a solid strike against the fake news sites. Those horrid sites are being spammed all over Facebook. It seems like 9/10 links you come across on Facebook are shady fake news sites looking to rip customers off.
The fake news websites report nonsense, then spam it on Facebook, so make sure you join us in the fight against fake news and terrible websites set up for the sole purpose of misleading people.
Melania Trump’s lawsuit will probably take a while to come to its completion, but we will monitor it and report when we hear more news on it.
Until then, feel free to share and discuss in the comments.
How do you feel about Melania’s lawsuit against the blogger?
