Imagine you are visiting the Downtown Denver Mall on vacation with your family having a sandwich in a little outdoor café…. then imagine some crazed lunatic comes up to your family with a pipe and starts swinging. WHAT is your first thought? Is it… damn I really wish I had my gun right now to stop this threat to my kids!
After some new anti-gun laws passed in Colorado this year the NRA announced that despite the states long-standing history of hunting these NEW bills in Colorado are threatening Americans’ Second Amendment rights. AND gun laws within Denver city limits are even more strict and dangerous. These laws make criminals braver to start attacking citizens at random.
Watching this video I felt absolutely helpless as this homeless man attacks anyone and everyone. Perhaps he just smoked some ‘bad weed’ from a local distributor who sold the pot to him legally. Perhaps he walked into a Home Depot and legally purchased the long pipe he would later use to bash skulls.
I wonder if he was even carded at Home Depot to make sure he was of age obtaining such a weapon or if anyone even thought of doing a background check? No matter what kind of thing was in this guys hands he was going to cause as much pain and destruction possible…
I can’t help but wonder if the damage would have been less if that second person he approached was already ready with gun in hand to disarm him. We won’t know because Denver’s laws aren’t designed to protect good citizens, rather they’re designed to make it easier for the crazies to inflict pain for longer periods until the authorities arrive.
Locals are very upset because in this possible Gun-Free Zone the crimes appear to be rising despite efforts of lawmakers to disarm ALL citizens:
“This is the crap that is going on in downtown Denver, Colorado. The 16th Street Mall is un-patrolled and people are getting hurt. This is why I am posting this. Nothing is being done. The leaders in our city keep saying they are going to do something. When?”
In an interview with Independent Journal Review, he further explained that the area has become “dangerous”:
“Just a week ago a similar incident occurred about a block away. I’m not going to comment on why this problem has not been solved or how it can be solved. What I will say is, we need leaders that will actually fix problems instead of talk about fixing problems. “
I guess you can’t confiscate all the cleavers, lead pipes and rope from all the citizens. But at least it makes for some shocking entertainment, if that’s what you’re into. Sitting around and watching with our hands tied is about all we are able to do anymore instead of protect ourselves! WATCH CRAZY BELOW:
