Democrats tout environmental issues and climate change as key policies of their party. But what they never mention is how mduh of a non issue it is to begin with. The chart below shows just how wrong climate change alarmists have been in the past. Climate change alarmists have turned the issue into a multi million dollar industry. It is all about bringing in the money.
In the 1970’s Biologist Paul Ehrlich predicted,
“Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years.”
In January of 1970 Life reported the following,
“Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support…the following predictions: In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution…by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half….”
In 1970 well known ecologist Kenneth E.F. Watt said the following,
“If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but 11 degrees colder by the year 2000, This is about twice what it would take to put us in an ice age.”
Many years later in 2006 former Vice President Al Gore predicted the so called tragic results of climate change. Despite the world coming to an alleged end in ten years it never actually did. A former ABC News segment aired in 2008 that wrongfully predicted New York City would be underwater by June 2015.
Kenneth Watt predicted the following on Earth Day,
“At the present rate of nitrogen buildup, it’s only a matter of time before light will be filtered out of the atmosphere and none of our land will be usable.”
To prove the point entirely, the Nature Climate Change journal found that 97.4% of the 117 climate change predictions never actually came for fruition. That in itself proves how much nonsense the climate change issue really is. Basic science doesn’t prove their point and yet ironically they try to use science to prove that climate change is real.
