I’m so confused right now. Police Chief Skyler Dore wrote a post on his FB page and then got fired for it. To be fair… he was asked to resign then was fired. I have tried to figure out what is racist about the post but apparently the town council was concerned about it enough to hold a meeting.
I have read the FB page over and over and here is what it says:
Hey Mr. (expletive) president when are you going to grow a (expletive) pair. And tell it like it is. These are terrorists. That have declared (expletive) war on my brother. (white police officers) enough is enough. How many police officers have to die trying to protect the citizens of this country. Any other president would have declared full on war on this group. Since when in our (expletive) history do we stand idle to the ambush murders of law enforcement. It has to STOP NOW!!!
HERE is also a screen shot of it:
I don’t think he’s calling his brothers only white police officers… he’s saying that white police officers are the target of an entire movement. And NOT a target of attack… target to search and destroy. with that, where is the racist comment? Black Lives Matter IS a terrorist group. Definition of terrorism: the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes. Is that not the goal and purpose of Black Lives Matter? They DO all those things not only loot and destroy other people’s property… they have also hurt and murdered people to intimidate and well, because as it appears to me, because they think it’s fun.
Former Chief of Police Skylar Dore pleaded his case with citizens of Jonesville, but many of them didn’t want to hear it.
“I’m sorry, but you should have thought about it before you even hit those keys,” says Sharon Stevenson, a resident of Jonesville.
Dore is referring to the racist remarks Dore made on Facebook about President Obama, criticizing his handling of the police shootings in Dallas and Baton rouge
“It hurt. I’m going to be honest. That brought tears to me because then I saw some of the racial comments coming up,” says Stevenson.
Others voiced their concerns about Dore’s racist remarks, but not all of them felt the same.
“He’s a damn good cop,” says Bill Bullock, a resident of Jonesville. “He’s exceptionally proficient and has good credentials.”
Bullock says he knows Dore personally and says his mistake should be forgiven.
I guess my question is what mistake should be forgiven? I’m really tired of politically correct, filtered leaders. We continue down this road to hell because everyone is afraid of telling the truth or hurting someone’s feelings. Many times I have said that Obama is a perpetrator of the racism in this country starting with his inappropriate and divisive comments about Treyvon Martin looking like the son he never had. I have also often said that the Black Lives Matters movement is a terrorist movement and if we’re not careful they will turn into a terrorist organization. No one wants filtered and politically correct messages because both are buckets of lies.
Read the facebook post and tell me what you think, do you see racism in the post? Am I seeing only what I want to see? Do you appreciate his frustration and honesty?
