Since Donald Trump’s initial dust-up with Kelly at the first Republican debate in August of 2015, the President-elect posted disparaging remarks about Kelly on Twitter and accused her of bias against him.
After months of feuding, the two finally publicly made up in an interview held on her show. While Trump isn’t trash talking her, I don’t exactly think she’s too thrilled with him – or that he’s now the President-elect.
In fact, on CNN last night she attempted to slander Trump…. and things got a bit ridiculous. “I felt like a human being who had been dropped into a shark tank” she told Anderson Cooper, describing the feel of being under attack by Trump and his allies. She even went as far as to admit that “We had security guards the whole year.”
As WebDaily reported:
Kelly is trying to endear herself to the liberal media even more by vilifying Trump with outrageous claims, going so far as to allege that top executives at Fox News had to explain to one of Trump’s top employees why if she “gets killed” it might be bad for their campaign.
Dramatic much? Trump made a Rosie O’Donnell joke and she thinks her life is at risk. I also don’t think she had to explain that her getting killed would be bad for Trump’s campaign.
“Michael Cohen, who is Trump’s top lawyer and executive vice president with the Trump Organization had retweeted ‘let’s gut her,’ about me,” Kelly told Anderson Cooper on Wednesday, according to Slate. “At a time when the threat level was very high, which he knew. And Bill Shine, an executive vice president of Fox, called him up to say, ‘You got to stop this. We understand you are angry but she’s got three kids and is walking around New York.’”
“And he didn’t much care,” Kelly continued. “And what Bill Shine said to Michael Cohen was, ‘Let me put it to you in terms you can understand: If Megyn Kelly gets killed it is not going help your candidate.’”
How many people are killed after getting a heads up first on social media? I’m pretty sure the answer is “zero.”
You can watch the video below. Note that despite the video being uploaded by a liberal network like CNN, the overwhelming response has been negative to Megyn.
