Melania Trump doesn’t say much unless it’s meaningful, letting her actions speak for themselves rather than trying to convince the public she’s something she’s not willing to prove. Her passivity creates a little bit of mystery about our First Lady which is in part what makes her so classy, especially compared to the woman she replaced in the White House. As she prepares to move to Washington D.C., she’s not just saying goodbye to her penthouse suite in Trump Tower, she’s also leaving another apartment behind that’s a few blocks from her Manhattan home with a long kept secret about her sister inside that the country is just finding out about.
While President Donald Trump has been hard at work in Washington, D.C. the First Lady has stayed behind in New York City so their son could finish out the school year where he’s most comfortable. Although Melania has been living in the penthouse of the ritzy skyscraper, she’s also been spending a great deal of time a few blocks down the street at a $2 million apartment, for reasons unknown until now.
Melania is a very private person which is why this particular apartment was kept a secret for so long, based on who lives there. Having seen the backlash and slander she, her son, and the rest of the people who bear the Trump name have faced since the second he took office, perhaps she wanted to spare her own family from that same sickening treatment. While it’s known that Melania immigrated to America, it wasn’t common knowledge that she had any family nearby, specifically a sister with whom she’s very close with.
“The New York Post did some digging and found that Ines Knauss, Melania’s older sister, lives just a few blocks from Trump Tower in a $2 million one-bedroom apartment,” Poll Hype reports. “According to Palm Beach philanthropist Audrey Gruss, Ines has a very close relationship with Melania and appears to be ‘lovely person, and extremely creative.’ The two sisters reportedly spend a lot of time together in New York while Mr. Trump is hard at work in D.C.”
Although Melania is one of the most photographed and recognizable women in America, her sister has intentionally stayed out of the spotlight and lives a life much different from the First Lady’s. “There’s only a single snapshot of her in recent years which was grabbed at a Florida luncheon in 2005” the report continued. “Ines was Melania’s maid of honor but details of a speech or even a full picture of her dress are impossible to find.”
With how private Melania tries to be despite her prestigious position, her sister has her beat, managing to not get caught on camera ever and protecting herself from public scrutiny. This has even gone as far as to much of the country not even knowing of her existence. Without being in the public eye and quietly living her life in the city, the liberals who are constantly on the attack of anyone and everyone associated with the Trumps have virtually nothing they can say about her – although, they’ll likely try.
Ines is a very special sister to Melania as Poll Hype explains:
“Clearly, Ines is a devoted fan of her sister. She even stood by Melania’s side when she was taking hits from the media during the rough 2016 campaign. When Melania was attacked in the Slovenian tabloids, Ines adopted her brother-in-law’s defense method and stood up to the publication saying they shouldn’t spread lies. Turns out America isn’t the only country struggling with the fake news epidemic.”
Understanding this closeness with her sister is to get to know our incredible First Lady better. What’s amazing is that the Knauss family does not try to personally benefit off of Melania’s notoriety before coming First Lady and certainly not after. They are relatively simple people who are proud of their daughter/sister’s accomplishments in America after all took the opportunities afforded them here after immigrating the right way and did something great with it. On the contrary, was Michelle Obama, who brought her mom along to the White House for all eight years, to live the life she was and take advantage of all that the presidency had to offer.
