Michelle Obama Has A MELTDOWN As She Desperately Tries To Save Her School Lunch Plan

With President Trump past his first 100 days he is moving on to bigger and better things to conquer. First, it was health care and immigration issues. Now it is rolling back former First Lady Michelle Obama’s so-called healthy school lunch program. The program was universally panned by children and parents as well as schools of being wasteful and expensive. The President knew this which is why he rolled back the regulation. But now the former First Lady is freaking out because her legacy is being rolled back alongside those lunches.

Michelle Obama recently spoke at the annual summit on childhood obesity for the Partnership for a Healthier America. She got defensive when someone countered her by saying that children don’t like the school plans. She said,

“How about we not let kids completely guide everything? How about we stop asking kids how they feel about their food? Kids, my kids included, if they could eat pizza and french fries every day with ice cream on top and a soda, they would think they were happy, until they got sick. That to me is one of the most ridiculous things we talk about in this movement, that the kids aren’t happy.

Well, you know what? Kids don’t like math, either. So what are we going to do, stop teaching math? We gonna cut history out because there are kids who are bored with history? We are the adults in the room, you know? They look to us. So let’s just stop with that. I’m good if kids are mad at me.”

She also made insinuations about the President and the Republican majority who backed his recent decision. Claiming that they want kids to eat crappy food because they don’t care about kids. The First Lady said,

“We gotta make sure we don’t let anybody take us back. You have to stop and think, why don’t you want our kids to have good food at school? What is wrong with you? And why is that a partisan issue? Take me out of the equation — like me or don’t like me. But think about why someone is OK with your kids eating crap. Why would you celebrate that? Why would you sit idly and be okay with that? Because here’s the secret: If somebody is doing that, they don’t care about your kid.”

Here’s part of her insane speech.

That is probably one of biggest oversimplifications one could ever hear. Of course, everyone wants to ensure that our children are happy and healthy and that they eat good food. However, it is not something the federal government should be regulating or mandating, this is an issue that should be dealt with at the state and local level but most importantly at home.

The changes being made to school nutritional programs are a delaying in the reduction of sodium in certain foods as well as rules that ease up whole grain regulation. The changes were instituted by Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue on May 1st at the beginning of he month.

As Perdue said,

“If kids aren’t eating the food, and it’s ending up in the trash, they aren’t getting any nutrition.”

These new regulation easements would give children the autonomy to choose food that they will actually eat that are still healthy but just marginally different. Because at the end of the day if they dont eat it then it doesn’t matter how healthy it is because they aren’t getting any nutrition. Kids know what they want, and they are always vocal in expressing it. You can not force them to eat food they don’t want to.

Which is why her program was ineffective at the end of the day. But the Obamas are too ignorant to understand this. And she is still digging her grave by talking about it publically.

Despite her and her husband promising not to comment on the new administration as they were afforded the same privilege by their predecessors Michelle Obama still took time out of her day to bash the new government. Their time has come and gone, and it isn’t coming back. It is time they step back into the shadows where they belong and let those who won their power continue to do their work.
